some nearly confirmed rumors

Moss to GB for thier 2nd and a comp pick based on performance

We are talking to the bills about a trade for mcgahee

Graham has all but eliminated us from his options

Lamont Jordan will be gone by the end of the next couple weeks. He is refusing to redo his contract

Jordan's $4.75M roster bonus is due Wednessday. If we don't want to pay it he's got to be gone by tomorrow night before the league office closes.

Green Bay's second, I'll be all over that. The problem with McGahee is that he sees himself as one of the top backs in the NFL, unfortunately he's not in the league of LT, LJ and Steve Jackson and he expects to be paid as such.

Moss to GB or Pats, I don't care I want him GONE!!!!!!!! I will take a second for him. If we can trade up or get a Olsen out of it I would be THRILLED> I honestly think that Porter will have a HUGE year if he is number one....He has wanted that for a long time....

I would love McGahee, I think he can be a elite RB but worried about his knee and attitude. Also not sure if I want to break the bank for him?????

I would like Graham but would also like E. Johnson (ex-49er) or a Wiggins or Pollard. WOULD LOVE Olsen or Miller if we can draft one.

I like Jordon and would like to give him one more chance but not at that number.......Would be happy with McGahee and or Chris Brown with a Lynch or a Peterson backing them up or taking over sometime this year.

make it happen al. take that 2 and run with it old-timer. Bowe or Meachem works for me.
maybe package LJ for Willis? Money is close. Possibly the first pick in the 4th round would get it done. Sold as long as Jordan is gone.
addition by subtraction so far boys.

If Dwyane Bowe lasts until the mid-2nd round I'll eat hawaiianboy's toupee.

The Raiders are reportedly looking to trade LaMont Jordan before his roster bonus is due Wednesday. If not, they are expected to cut him.

Bills.com's blog reports about Jordan being on the market, which isn't a huge surprise. Profootballtalk.com said Monday that Jordan will be cut if he's not dealt. Jordan would immediately be the best running back available in free agency, and could draw interest from the Packers, Jets, and Bills.

If all this is true, the only scenario that makes sense in regard to the draft is Russell/Quinn OR Calvin Johnson. I think it's CJ when it's all said & done.

CJ, Porter & Curry with Mcgahee running the rock? I'd hit that.

If we get Wills, we'd have to get him to agree to a long-term contract before the deal goes through. He'll be on his final year of his contract at $2.15M.

LaMont Jordan agreed to reduce his roster bonus from $4.75 million to $3 million on Monday, and will stay with the Raiders in 2007.

It's still probable that he'll face competition for his starting job, though we feel he'll win unless Oakland surprises everyone and takes Adrian Peterson with the No. 1 overall pick. Most indications had pointed to Jordan being released and possibly having to settle for a No. 2 job, so this is good news for his keeper league and dynasty league owners.

Say hello to Calvin Johnson --- Al is on a mission I tell 'ya.

As much as I'm not sold on Andrew Walter, I'm no longer excited about ether Russell or Quinn. Johnson makes the most sense to me. You should always go for the best player in the draft and oh yeah, Calvin Johnson can score TD's. Think Al likes that? I do.

All indications are that Al loves Johnson. They apparently didn't like Russell all that much at the combine for all the reasons I pointed out before and were confirmed in one of the reports Raider4Life posted earlier. He's got a lot of question marks for the #1 overall pick.

Resigning Lamont is a sublime message about Peterson (I think) or maybe more of a message about, yes, the best player in the draft.

Johnson seems to be the early favorite as things start to unfold.

Maybe Al and Kid Kiffin really do think Walter is the man.

per miamidolphins.com

Both McMicheal and Joey Harrington have been released.

I'd take both here in oak

Me too.

I think they do. Al takes CJ then he has the skill positions in a good place:
His QB (an Al Davis find - "best QB on the board")
RB by committee - Jordon/Fargas (RBC is all the vogue)
His Wideouts - Porter/Curry/Johnson

Leaves the rest of the draft and FA to fix the line and get a FB/TE.
