If anyone can help me much appreciated.
So I fried my HP laptop by spilling coffee on it. Fortunately, I was able to save my files to an external hard drive but the machine was toast. I am now using a newer Dell Inspiron lap top which I bought for the gf which she barely used.
I am running windows 10 on there. I bought the Webroot virus protection from Best Buy which I have used on my other machines and have never had an issues with. I also installed a free version of Malware bytes. Speed wise the Dell runs ok but it regularly starts acting crazy with multiple screens popping up and I am unable to control the mouse. I just assumed it was infected with malware but every time I run a scan, it comes back clean.
My IT friend told me to install Chrome which I did. He also told me to disable Webroot since Windows 10 comes with Mcafee (which I'm not a fan off) I also went online and tried everything they told me in the techie forums. Of course nothing helped. I finally uninstalled Windows 10 and reinstalled it but to no avail. Still get the same shit.
Anything else I can try or do I just have a lemon? I know Windows 10 users were having issues with some of their updates but this to me seems more like a malware or virus issue.
Much appreciated
