Seems like no one has started this yet so let's see what you got.

1.6 - Ashton Jeanty - RB
2.58 - Jack Bech - WR
3.68 - Darien Porter - CB
3.98 - Caleb Rogers - G
3.99 - Charles Grant - T
4.108 - Dont'e Thornton Jr. - WR
4.135 - Tonka Hemingway - DT
6.180 - JJ Pegues - DT/FB
6.213 - Tommy Mellott - WR/QB
6.215 - Cam Miller - QB
7.222 - Cody Lindenberg - LB

I use this to show me who would've been available... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2025_NFL_draft

This was actually the hardest 'money' exercise I can remember doing. Usually it's not that hard to at least feel like I'm making better picks than our team but looking at 'my' draft I'm not 100% sold that it's better and this is obviously with the benefit of being able to know what other teams would do before and after our picks. Tells me that Spytek did a great job navigating talent/need/and value.

1.6 - Ashton Jeanty - RB -- Easily my top pick from who was left. If Graham goes here I take him. I've talked about him for months... just a stud.

2.58 - Trey Amos -- CB -- The value here for Amos would've been too great for me to pass on. I had him as a late 1st prospect and liked him more than even Hairston, who went in the first. Love the Bech pick and hard for me to change it still but had Amos a little higher pre-draft so I'm sticking to my guns.

3.68 - Jalen Milroe -- QB -- Too good of value to pass on the talent. Developmental QB that gets to sit behind Geno for two years. Not a shocker that I'd take Milroe, I think I was his biggest fan here all offseason.

3.98 - Caleb Rogers - G --No change to this pick. Best guard available. Love it.

3.99 - Charles Grant - T -- Also no change here. Add OL. Those 'Where's the Beef' ladies can fuck off.

4.108 - Jalen Royals -- WR -- Had Royals as a 2nd rounder and he slipped so can't pass him up here.

4.135 - Elic Ayomanor -- WR --
Had Elic as a 2nd rounder too so not gonna pass on him.

6.180 - JJ Pegues - DT/FB --
Good value here for Pegues, no complaints.

6.213 - RJ Mickens -- S --
Had Mickens as a mid rounder, add to the safety room.

6.215 - Jay Toia -- DT --
More beef for the DL.

7.222 - Cody Lindenberg - LB --
Nice value for Lindenberg, I'll keep him.

1.6 - Ashton Jeanty - RB No brainer. I only changed in my Lil Al because of some of the misinformation that was being circulated. Love the pick. Generational talent.

2.58 - Mike Green Edge. Too much talent to pass up here. 17 sacks last year. He only dropped because of the past sexual allegations but nothing ever proven. Love Jack Bech. Great human interest story but he wasn't my favorite receiver although I won't complain about the pick.

3.68 - Darien Porter - CB. Had him at this spot in Lil Al. We needed a corner. A bit of a project but his measurables are off the charts.

3.98 - Caleb Rogers - G. Good with this. Had a need even though he went earlier than he was projected. He will be starting at some point this season. Has that nasty streak like JPJ.

3.99 - Charles Grant - T. Was hoping we got him. I thought he might have gone earlier. Tampa has done well with OL from small schools. Can ease him into the rotation slowly and let him learn the nuances of playing OT in the NFL. Great value in the 3rd. Lot of the draftniks loved him.

4.108 - Jalen Royals - WR I thought he would be long gone by now. No brainer here. One of my favorite receivers coming out.

4.135 - Jackson Slater G. Honestly had no idea who Tonka was. I was thinking maybe LB here, Bassa or maybe Chris Paul but decided to add more beaf to the OL. I think Slater will eventually be a starter in the league.

6.180 - JJ Pegues DT/FB Initially would have probably taken Will Howard here but the fact that his OC is here and the Raiders had all the intel on him and passed, leads me to believe they weren't sure how his game would translate to the NFL. Also didn't have a great combine. I like the beaf here and the versatility to play on the offense as well.

6.213 - Nick Nash WR Surprised he went undrafted. Put up some pretty gaudy numbers at SJ State in 2024 and earned All American honors.

6.215 - Cam Miller - QB After passing on Will Howard, I am fine with this pick. Needed a QB to compete for a back up position with AO'C. He doesn't particularly excel in any one specific area but is a heady competitor and a winner. I watched two seasons worth of reels and came away very impressed. Could be a sleeper in the Brock Purdy mold.

7.222 - Cody Lindenberg - LB Good value here. Maybe one of him and Matt Jones make the 53. We need some more competition in the LB room

Tyler Warren in the 1st (I really have no idea, I'm just picking someone I liked). Amos in R2, Milroe in 3rd or Sanders instead of Tonka in R4.

That's with the benefit of hindsight. In real time I'd probably have pulled the trigger on a QB sooner.

For me there were 3 selections I did not like as much Bech, Rogers, and Hemingway. It will be near impossible to regain the value of what Bech brings to the team potentially as a downfield blocker and helping in that area so I’m not going to even try. Either way I am going to stick with Jeanty as I think he’s a solid pick at this stage could have easily went Membou as well. But I am not trading back the 2nd time in the 2nd round.

I am going to skip on Mike Green because everyone is saying “we would never take him… I am also looking to sign Keenan Allen

4.135 - Cam Jackson DT Florida
6.180 - JJ Pegues - DT/FB

Spyguy nailed his 1st draft. The only obvious change for me is NT C. Jackson over pass-rush specialist Hemingway.
  • 1.3: Jeanty—nailed it
  • 2.37: 100% on board with Spyguy’s 2 trades down; I wanted Porter (CB) and Thornton (WR), who we still landed, and Spyguy added multiple picks in the process
  • 2.58: Bech—not 2nd guessing Spyguy/Carroll/Chip here b/c we landed Thornton giving us a two-fer at a position of need
  • 3.68: Porter—nailed it
  • 3.98: Rogers—100% on board with investing in OL with back-to-back 3rds. Spyguy clearly targeted Rogers to convert to OG in Chip’s O. Next OG was not taken until the 5th round—evidencing lack of OG talent. Tried to draft DT D. Walker but @Crow veto’d the pick
  • 3.99: Grant—nailed it. IDK if this small college LT converts to NFL but I bought into the hype as him being the best LT in this class in 3-4 years
  • 4.108: Thornton—nailed it. He’ll almost assuredly disappoint but I’m fool for H/W/S
  • 4.135: C. Jackson—NT #Beaf
  • 6.180: Pegues—I’ll take the flyer on Pegues and double dip on plus sized DT
  • 2.213: Mellott—on board with this flyer
  • 2.218: Miller—needed a developmental QB
  • 2.222: Lindenberg—we need LB help

Incredible stuff.
