So the Chefs just resigned LJ and seem to be ok with Michael Bennett and rookie Kolby Smith...according to the staff and coach. There have been some rumblings about Preist not even making the team and the Chefs cutting him.

Do the Raiders make a run for him? I know I've read in the past that Holmes has said he wouldn't mind playing for the Cowboys. But does Al dangle some cheese in front of him and Kiffin take the chance to find an older Reggie Bush and get 2-3 years out of the guy? Our 3rd down threat would be quite nice. I would be all over that and take my chance on the dude. Although, we probably wouldn't have the cash to afford him unless if Al could put some signing bonus together.

Any thoughts?

The buckteeth and mullets would be in tears.....

I think Priest is done, and we have plenty of options here at RB anyway.

I have a feeling that had the Chiefs not been on HBO's Hard Knocks, Priest wouldn't have even attempted a comeback... The guy is one strange cat, but I'd take a looksee if for no other than to give Cheif fans the redass...

A 50 year old Barry Sanders is a closer resemblance to an "older Reggie Bush".

I would love to take a look at him even if he isn't the old Priest maybe he can still pound it a little....Would he be better then Fargas??

Maybe not. Fargas has looked made for decent cut and go running. And right now Lamont Jordan is faster than Priest. Which is sad.

I think Huggy is going to get cut... unless we keep 5 RB's here. He brings absolutely nothing but straight line speed... he may have the worst instinct and shake I've ever seen.

Echew, Lamont and Rhodes have all looked a helluva alot better... plus Bush in the mix.

Oddly enough you've just stated why we dont need priest either. I'm just saying i'd take huggy bear over holmes at this juncture. Not really caring if we have neither. IMO Holmes is not a need and has more question marks than value. Unless Jordan falters and rhodes gets another dwi while michael is stuck healthy on IR(which hasn't happened yet), he's not even on my mind.
