Forgot about HOF Benny Friedman:

Can't trust the published range map for reptiles. I don't know why they can be so far off, but they are.
We only have two species of rattle snakes in the state with only the Prairie rattler in the eastern part of the state according to the range maps and it's just not true.

He had to throw it “high” to get over the LB’er. Throwing the ball was as much of the problem as the ball itself. If Nailor was 6’3”+ with size and hops perhaps the ball fits in nicely.

The high part was only part of the problem. The ball was also late and therefore behind where it should be. It does seem that Mendoza would be better paired with some bigger WRs with a bigger catch radius.
 
I'm not ready to just assume he can't fix the tendency to throw high.

I think he got used to his receivers at IU making acrobatic catches. But he also put the ball where the defender couldn't make a play.

He mastered the back shoulder throw for those bigger guys. He didn't make a ton of plays in the middle of the field which was one of the knocks on him coming out.
