Met him and his wife at Landlubbers in Ft Lauderdale before the Miami game one year. Helluva nice man. He was signing autographs for charity, then just signed randomly after he had a few brews. Just hanging out and talking to fans. Sad to see how he's aged. Amazing player. Such a knack for forcing turnovers with that long reach.

Hes like 80 and played in the clothesline a receiver eara. Not to mention I think he's done a lot of substances over the years.

Was watching a snipeet of their preseason game the other day, and they were going on and on about how he's one of the elite QBs in the league. Literally had his best numbers as a rookie and still hasn't won a playoff game, a division title, or frankly shit for that matter either in the NFL or college, but he's elite.

Curious what Burrow has really done beside get the shit kicked out of him.

He's literally had Boomer Esiason's career but is treated like a deity for some reason. The Bengals weren't exactly terrible when he walked into the franchise since Marvin Lewis did a lot of the heavy lifting that everyone used to complain about why they couldn't build a team. After they miss the playoffs again this year, it's going to be four years since they last made it.

Marino sat the first 6 or 7 weeks. Remember that shootout game in 84 that we won with Marc at QB? I think Haynes had a 99 yd INT return. Of course I had hair and perfect hearing back then!

Roethlisberger probably had the best season as a rookie. Marino didn't play most of his rookie year. Luck was a functional starter but nothing special. Manning threw a lot of picks, more than TDs. Russell Wilson was a good game manager and was leading blowout wins by the end of the year, but they clearly had him on a leash. Jayden Daniels had a pretty good one. That's about the whole list.
