Back in the Raiders glory years they always had a good group of LBers.

Early 70's it was Villapiano, Conners and Irons. That might have been the best group, but it is for sure debatable.

I find it fascinating how hard LBers bite on play action even when the run game isn't working.
Them dudes step right up and Bowers will feast right behind them.
That’s why you never completely go away from the run. Even last week down 2 scores we were able to get back into the game with a huge run.

I'm a fucking retard that can't spell Burford gets but needs more help. Guess DC are trying to isolate him?

Chefs lead the NFL by far in pass plays behind the LOS—screens (RB, WR, TE), shuttle passes, etc.—which contributes to Mahomo’s low average air yards but large YAC.

In terms of pass protection, Kubiak/Dennison have been helping the OT, especially Glaze.

Through 3 weeks, Raiders’ OL has been the worst run blocking unit in the NFL. :(

After 3 weeks, Cousins has effectively run the 2:00 drill

I recall Simpson matching up well (as well as can be expected) against Chris Jones. I was looking forward to JPJ’s girth/power leaning on that old man. Rogers is not small, but he’s built more like an OT.
