We just got hammered by the Tennessee Titans... totally punked stuffed and mounted in the second half.

We've got lousey talent on this team, we keep attempting to reuse the same stiffs that for years have proven to be nothing special.

Al needs help building this roster, becasue he did jack squat to help Kiff going into this thing.

Look what we've got. We have absolutly nothing on either side of the line of scrimmage... and we all know that if you can do nothing there, nothing else works.

We have absolutly no playmakers at the skill positions on offense.

We have a long way to go talent-wise to make this squad truly competetive with the quality teams in the league.

Culpepper - Fuck you. You suck dick. You shitty asshole eating cunt discharge funneling turnover machine.

Stu - you should play womens soccer. This muthafucker must have failed geometry because he fucks up more angles than anyone ive ever seen. WTF was he doing on that TD run.

O-Line - Fucking sucks. needs a ton more talent and focus. How many penalties can one team have.

Run D- Sucks ass. Teams man handle like bitches.

Darren Mcfadden, Glenn Dorsey top 5 pick here we come....

Totally agree... We need to stop doing things like drafting a small safety in the top 10 :shakehead: ... We need to give Kiff the hammer and let him build the team as HE sees fit... That should start with the lines IMO...

1) We either need to switch to a 34 defense or go out and get some big, stout DT's because getting our crap packed by the run is getting old...

I wouldn't be opposed to focusing our free agent loot on signing Mike Haynesworth and Isaac Sopoaga to give us some size in the middle and protect Morrison... Sopoaga has played big now that he's healthy and that would allow Sands to go back to being a rotation guy...

2) The talent on the O-line needs an upgrade... Best case scenario is McQ shows himself capable of playing the RT spot and Mario Henderson can translate the flashes he showed in preseason into consistency as a starter... Otherwise we're looking at needing to add at least one OT and a center in the offseason...

Other than our special teams play (welcome back Ike and Coop), there was really nothing to hang our hat on today... Too many penalties, stupid turnovers, bad QB play, bad O-line play, inable to stop the run and on and on...

Schweigert pretty much is on the verge of losing his job. I think the team will keep him, the pulling him out on other downs is a sign of him losing time, much like i thought it was with Sammy Wlliams. Also Robert Thomas has played better than Sam Williams.

Jay Richardson? Not a starter in this league. He single handedly ignited the Titan offense.

Justin Fargas? A keeper imo.

Jordan? Looks like he's getting slower every down.

Routt? Another solid game in coverage. Another keeper.

Morrison/Howard-Much better overall play against the run. But couldnt make up for Jay Richardsons failures.

Culppeper- You dont belong here. You just fucked over your money trying to be a WCO QB. Sucks to be you.

Kiffin-Jamarcus Russell might as well get some time in. See whats good about him, whats bad, and what he needs to work on for this and next season. Get Bush in too, your "proven" RB's haven't proven much outside of Fargas.

I'm surprised no one has commented much on the fact that we are paying Gerard warren to ride the injury line. Dungver may just get the high end of the trade by default. His absence is a big ass factor in alot of our failures the past 3 games on defense.

I have to disagree with a couple of your points. I really don't think Richardson had a lot to do with us getting run on. He didn't stop it, but it was happening long before he was forced into action. The person that you should be looking at, that we paid specifically to be a run stopper is Sands, who may as well be invisible. He generates no push and does not pursue. He is the prototypical "I got my contract now I will give half effort" player.

I also don't believe that our LB's are good in run support. They consistently miss tackles and over pursue. They are outstanding talents and I love them, but they are a big part of the reason that we cannot stop the run. A RB goes directly from our first level defensive line to the defensive backfield because our LB's are not in position or miss tackles. I am starting to believe that Morrison is out of position in the middle. He is not stout enough against the run. We are in desperate need of D line help or a change of scheme as HB mentioned.

"We don't have the personnel" is the usual excuse. A football team is a system composed of more than players. We've wasted so many picks, let many players go through, brought in innefective players, we're still paying for those mistakes.

Chandler Kiffin is losing the grip on this team. The unbelievable amount of penalties is a proof of something reeking from inside out. The playcalling is lousy. The DC can't figure how to stop a RB. This is 2008 preseason now, but as usually, even it will be wasted. Kiffin's project will take more than expected to produce. There's a jinx in thid town. Maybe a move is mandatory.

Exaggeration. We choked a close game away like a bunch idiots. Hammered is pushing it.

I dunno about that dude.

In the second half we totalled 62 yards on 7 drives that ended in; 4 punts, a fumble, an int and that last drive that finished on downs. At one point we had 3 consecutive possesions that ended in negative yardage totals(-6,-8 and -15).

The Titans had 5 drives(not including the final kneel down drive) that totalled 144 yards, most of it rushing, scoring a fieldgoal and a TD to beat us.

We were completly stoned, and controlled in the second half. That the Titans didn't drop a huge point total makes no difference... they flubbed a couplea sure TD passes anyhow.

How do you all think our proud new 20% owners enjoyed the game today? :D

Morrison did miss his fair share of tackles today but we're getting absolutely no penetration from the interior of our DL. I also think it's more of a scheme thing than talent IMO but I wouldn't be adverse to signing someone like Karlos Dansby to man the middle and move Morrison to OLB. Hey 218 total yards allowed with 13 points scored. Normally that's a victory. Can't blame this one on the defense.

Our OL was again badly exposed. With the exception of Cooper Carlisle, Cornell Green, and maybe Newberry, I would just assume jettison the rest of these stiffs. So much for Gallery picking up Cable's scheme. It works fine against the lower echelon of the league but when we face any kind of a test on defense, we just suck ass. Sims, time to go holmes. You singlehandedly killed us today. Sorry HB, McQ's only hope is that he can stick at a guard position. The guy absolutely blows at RT. I'm almost sorry we released Kevin Boothe.

It ultimately boils down to a void in leadership and we have none from our field generals. Pep is just fuggin brain dead or something. We had more than one opportunity to win this thing but as usual, we find a way to fugg it up at the end. BMW's making that catch would have just delayed the inevitable. Pep would have found a way to lose it for us. Aaron Brooks Part II.

While I think we have a huge talent deficit, huge becasue it's in some critical areas, I agree that there is a big problem here particularly on offense. There seems to be nobody to take charge, straighten things out, or that really knows what the hell we're supposed to be doing out there. If we had some quality leadership to tighten things up we would be better and probably would hvae won another game or two.

You can't have the likes of Swieg or Culpepper trying to lead, after the Monday film session these guys are just a joke. They have no credibility when they can't deliver on the field.

In retrospect, I don't think signing Garcia and drafting maybe Trent Edwards would have been all that bad.

Well the parallels to 1998 and Gru's first year are there... We have the formerly uber talented QB that doesn't fit the offense (Culpepper/Jeff George), and the game but talent short QB (Donald Hollas/Josh McCown).... Unfortunately, Kiffin doesn't have the benefit of having a Tim Brown or Nap Kaufman to lean on the way Gru did in year 1...

Hopefully, the reports of JaMarcus being the kind of guy that people just want to follow are accurate... I'd be surprised if at the LEAST, we didn't add a Bernard Berrian/Andre davis type speedster this offseason...

* Count me firmly against moving Kirk Morrison... He's got the kind of talent and instincts that you build around as a middle backer... He faces a lot of the same problems that Ray Lewis did when they played him unprotected... To the Ravens credit, they recognized that after some prompting from Ray Ray and put some beef in front of him so that he can scrape tackle to tackle...

* I'd HATE to move Gallery AGAIN, but if Green is out, I'd be tempted to see if Gallery can't lock down that RT spot once and for all in this scheme... Theoritically, if Henderson and Gallery can be the 'guys' at tackle, it sure would be a lot easier to go out and find a guard as opposed to a tackle...

Complete Tiajuan abortion... coathanger etc...

We should all just use this as our sig...

SREDIAR

Might as spell it backwards... We go backwards

It's discipline, does'nt matter who we bring in, players, coaches... it all settles down the same

False starts, holding, blocking in the back...

What a complete fucking abortion

Just like I said last week

We dont have any playmakers on offense

Darren McFadden... take the MF'er and be done with it

Ship Gallery, Jordan, Stu, Green, Sims for a bag of nachos

Everyone of those stiffs suck nutsacks

Random thoughts:

I have zero confidence in our ability to close out a win in a close game. We're just good enough to be in the game, but bad enough to lose 90% of the time. As it stands, we will be lucky to win 4 games this year.

Offensive Line - I've been harping on this since 2003, but our line simply sucks. It's not about scheme, it's talent plain & simple. We don't have much. I'm not convinced that McUgly has the athletic ability to play OT in this league and who knows if he can offer us anything at OG? Barry Sims, he was done 3 years ago. Robert Gallery? He's been worked over the past 3 games. I think he'll be gone next year. Jeremy Newberry? Age & health alone dictate that he won't be here long and BTW, this dude has major issues with the fucking 'snap'. Geez. Cooper Carlise might be our best lineman, which isn't saying much considering he's mediocre at best. Cornell Green? Journeyman OT that is best suited as a reserve player. Who knows what Mario Henderson will bring, but at least he appears to be athletic. He needs to get himself activated with the goal of getting PT this year.

The defensive line is almost as woeful.

Since it's impossible to know what we'll accomplish in FA, I am now firmly planted in the draft all OL & DL over the first 6 selections.

I'm off the WR bandwagon. I think Curry, Porter & Higgins (fuck BMW) along with Zach Miller, would be far more effective if we had an NFL competent O-line.

If Michael Bush is at least solid, I'm OK with our RB core. Justin Fargas has become a solid NFL football player and this was evident last year if you were paying attention. Not sure what the deal with Dominic Rhoades is, but I'm guessing he will be jettisoned. I have a feeling that him & the coaching staff are at odds.

LaMont Jordan? Oft-injured and not fast enough. I'm ready to move on.

Same story, different fucking year.

4 fumbles, 1 INT, 100 yards in penalties and they lost the game by 4 points.... Good God!

I can understand players having a bad game once in awhile.. it happens to the best of them, but Stu Needs to fucking go! That worthless piece of dog shit flat out SUCKS! maybe there is hope, Alvis Whitted was finally let go, maybe stu is next!

Fuck ME!

At this point, I'd like to see the Raiders try to build an identity on offense... which they still haven't done through 7 freakin games. You kind of have to learn to walk before you can start talking about running a 40 yard dash.

Offensively, our running game is light years ahead of our passing game, yet I can't understand why Kiffin does some of the things he does.... If you've got a guy like Fargas getting you nearly 7 yards everytime he touches the ball... why the hell are you still fucking around with Lamont Jordan (aka the new teacher's pet). Kiffin's li'l man crushes are really starting to piss me off. What I also don't understand is if you're clearly seeing that a slow, fat, oversized teacher's pet isn't getting it done... is there a reason a slimmer and quicker guy like Rhodes can't even get a damn carry?

For all the talk about the Raiders not having the horses to execute anything on offense... I'm more concerned about the lack of offensive personnel adjustments during the game. We still have yet to bench an ineffective QB even though you could argue all 5 of our losses are a direct result of horrific QB play. Outside of the Dolphin game where injuries forced Kiffin's hand, we've pretty much been glued to the fat ass of Kiffin's latest teacher's pet instead of riding the "hot RB"...

Talent is only part of the problem... getting outcoached is the other part of the problem... the silver lining in all this is I still think a lot of this is fixable... and I'm willing to be patient.... can't speak for Al though. Personally, I'd like to see Walter and Fargas starting next week...

Defensively... nothing new... if you can't win the battle at the line of scrimmage with the front 4...

Sooo ... is Jordan a teacher's pet like McCown was?
