So what Password Manager are people using?

The recent breach of LastPass has me scrambling.

1Password? Bitwarden?

So far I’ve changed my LastPass Master Password and all the individual passwords in my vault. Unfortunately I’m still concerned since they stole customer vaultS and may have already cracked Master Passwords so they would have the hashed PW’s. Changing the individual passwords should alleviate it but I’m feeling LastPass is now a really bad idea. I’ve had a LastPass account for many years. They’ve had a least 6-7 incidents in the last six years. There are articles all over the InterWebs about this. Here’s one…

What a PITA.

@Abelardo You got me into this mess over 10 years ago. What have you got to say?

Ten years ago it was safe... very sorry. I will not reccommend this kind of things.

I have a tattered envelope. And sheets of notepaper with bunches of passwords for credit cards, cable bills etc. I know it's dump but it sounds like there's a problem now.

Google has a my credit cards saved although I'm not thrilled about it. But it is convenient.

I like the idea of texting a secondary pin number to your phone to verify you. But how safe is that.

I guess I'm probably not helping much. So is there an app or service where you save them? Is this what this is? Sounds bad.

Have my shit saved on a word document but probably not the smartest thing to do. I did take most of my crypto off the exchanges and stored it in a cold wallet off line. I use a vpn so I have some level of protection I guess.

Whatever happened to a pad & pen?

Awful ideas but then my un-awful password company was breached like 6 times.

Think I’m gonna go with www.Bitwarden.com. They get very high grades.
