How many of them do we think are up to scratch?

Defensively I think that along with Ryan, Millard seems to be doing a good job and our DBs, certainly in terms of Ints, have been improving since Pagano joined. Special teams seem better than under Avezzano, but what about the offensive coaches not counting Shell and Walsh.

Fred Biletnikoff - WR
Irv Eatman - Co OL
Jackie Slater - Co OL
Robert Ford - Quality Control Offense
Jim McElwain - QB
Skip Peete - RB
John Shoop - TE

Jeff Fish - Strength and Conditioning

Not to take anything away from Pagano but I believe that Lorenzo Ward has also been a very key difference maker as far as our secondary's improvement is concerned. As far as the O coaches go I have to question whether Freddie should even be on the staff. I love the guy. Hell I use him as my avatar on this board but is he really an effective coach? I haven't seen it. He is the only one that I really have a problem with though except for Walsh of course.

Anybody on this team with a title like "Quality Control Offense" should be seriously considering a career change. :p

Go say three 'Hail Marys' and four 'Our Fathers' immediately!

There's not a single facet of our offense that has been remotely adequate... None of them deserve a seat at the big kids table if you ask me...

My thoughts exactly. I think his failure goes without saying.

Then again, it's not as if he's got much help.

Yes, he was the one I was thinking of, for some reason I thought Pagano was the one from Va Tech. :o

Pretty much what I thought, there is not a lot of faith in any of our offensive staff.

I think Curry has developed well and Gabriel was showing signs of developing. The Oline picks have not panned out, but the multiple scheme changes cannot have helped there. Walter seemed to show some development, but was also starting to not step into his throws. Jordan is less effective this year than last, but Fargas has at least kept his self healthy and stopped fumbling. Anderson doesn't seem to have improved from the level he was at as a rookie.
