Fans are dumb.

He was hired after they had a 28th ranked defense in 2018 and delivered a top ten scoring defense in 2019. Which resulted in a Super Bowl win.

His defense works with the offense. It is aggressive and forces turnovers to give Kermit and company more opportunities.

He's a Jim Johnson disciple. He was supposedly the natural successor but had taken the job with the Giants because Johnson had that job for life. Then, Johnson died. Now, Fat Andy has another great DC who will never leave for an HC job.
