As to McCoy, his recent absence from public OTAs is noticeable. Also, the words about him improving and getting back to 100% forgets that 100% was McCoy as a sophomore. He did not play his junior year. While he was excellent as a sophomore, sophomores don’t play in the NFL. A little unrealistic to think he’s immediately a plug-in-play CB after missing an entire developmental season, even if healthy.

There’s no way around it, he’s a gamble. That’s why you spend a 4th on him and not a penny more.

We took Tonka and Donte Thornton last year in round four both of them likely suck. Decamerion Richardson the year before and I think he played two snaps for us last year. Its just the usual way day three picks work.

I was stoked as hell we took the swing on day 3 and not in round 1 haha.

Chances are much higher that a 4th round pick ends up a Walmart greeter than a Maxx Crosby.
