Mr. vick is gettin' a lot of attention these days, but dog fighting is one of the lesser crimes against animals. As anyone who pays attention knows (that's 2 of you at least) I work for a No-Kill Shelter in Humboldt County California (www.sequoiahumane.org) . I orgainze an annual festival (www.woofstock.org) to help pay for the cushy diggs we give the dogs and cats, puppies and kittens.
Our dogs, walk in support of the dogs who don't have owners and homes yet. They get us to collect pledges from others to help their homeless friends.
