One for the Thumb Dubs 23-24-25

I hope Wembly brings back the big boy game and we get some guys that will beat the shit out of him down low though.

Fuck that frog.

He's pretty good though... :(

Man BB is hot garbage. How the hell do you have multiple teams that have not won 20 games as of yet?

eh, the were multiple teams with 4 or less wins in the NFL last year. What does this have to do with anything?

It's about on pace for previous seasons.

It's kind of a transitional time for the league though I think. Stars are getting older and there aren't as many up and coming guys as obvious faces of the league types. Jokic, maybe Luka although he seems to be on more of a James Harden track.

Is it me or does it look like Podz has hit the proverbial rookie wall the past few weeks? Doesn't look like the same player he was earlier.

It's a few things I think. Some of it might be the rookie wall but a lot of it is Kerr depending on him for more than his current skillset should dictate so his shortcomings are getting exposed. Way too many 3 or 4 guard lineups.

Giannis, Wembey, Tatum. I think league is doing ok in that department.

Giannis is in his 11th year in the league and ever so slightly starting to show a little wear and tear. If it hasn't happened for him yet, I don't think it's happening. Tatum isn't really that guy either, albeit a little younger. Neither are really transcendent in the LeBron, Steph, Jordan, Magic, Bird, etc. way that the league has had pretty consistently since the 80s. Jokic is the only guy that's performing at the level right now IMO. Are you really excited about a Giannis vs. Embiid or Tatum vs. whoever? Not me.

Wembley certainly could be that guy, but he's just getting started.

I'll say part of the problem with the apathy over the post season is that these teams really don't compete with each other during the regular season anymore. 20 years ago Sacramento vs. LAL on a Tuesday evening was must see TV because they would compete like it was game 7 of the finals. If we had the same matchup today, Kobe and Webber would probably both be sitting out.

Giannis is in his 11th year? fuck me. I would have guessed like 5 or 6 lol.

Showing no signs of slowing down either. I know he trains as hard as anyone in the NBA. I'm going to be really sad when he hangs it up. He is the sole reason I started watching the NBA again.
Sole reason I watch it now.
