Sounds like Kuminga is officially being a bitch about his contract. There’s talk of him pulling a Patrick McCaw and threatening to sit out the year. Meanwhile we’re fucked on moving forward with the offseason.

Read on a Warrior forum that he turned down a 5 year $150mm deal about a year ago. Does that sound right? Obviously the team doesn't want him back or they would have worked something out already and he doesn't want to be here either. If he is going to accept the QO, there's really no need for him to rush and sign it now. Maybe a S & T will open up by then.

5/$150 is what was reported. We're fucked now because we can't rescind the QO but he doesn't have to sign it until October.

I wouldn't sign it either but I definitely would have fired my agent. What a dumbass. The lack of interest for him from most of the league has to tell you something. They should have traded his ass last year.

As far as Horford, I read he has a 6th kid on the way and lives between Boston and Atlanta. I doubt he is going to uproot his family and move to SF for a MLE type deal.

Who knows. Supposedly agreements are in place with him and Melton, but obviously JK's situation is holding that up. Even if the deal is in place, he's not going to wait forever.

Dame apparently going back to Portland for 3 yr $42mm deal. So much for him wanting to play in his hometown. Guess his ego is too big for him to play with Steph. Why wouldn't he sign where he might have a shot at a ring before he hangs it up?

I mean… $42m is $42m. I’m shocked that any team would give him that contract.

We could use Seth off the bench. Our bench scorers are horrible. So I've read that they have deals in place with Horford and Melton but have to deal with JK's situation first.

Apparently the Warriors have offered Kuminga the most money and guaranteed him a starting role and he’s determined to play for another team. Seems like things might be getting closer with a S&T with Sac.

Yah it doesn't sound like he wants to be back even though I read where him and Kerr speak to each other on a regular basis and Kerr apparently wants him back. I know JK is a knucklehead but Kerr didn't do him any favors either.

I wonder what the Kings are going to offer in return. Not going to be anything earth shattering I have to believe.

Kings are supposedly offering a protected 1st and Devin Carter, who is a mildly interesting player but doesn’t fill any need. Dubs want one of Keegan or Ellis, Sac says get fucked. Sounds like a lot of this due to JK’s agent being as small time as it gets.

Dubs have zero leverage at this point and there's not a big market for RFA this offseason. I read where Dubs upped the offer to $20mm but JK wants $30mm plus a chance to start somewhere. Devin Carter is strictly a defensive guy that can't shoot. It's a no win situation whatever they do.

We really have all the leverage. JK is a Warrior next year unless the Warriors decide otherwise. If he is back, he’ll need to play his ass off or he’ll end up as the 12th player on someone’s roster making league minimum. It’s not an ideal situation but we’re in the drivers seat.

I meant leverage regarding any potential trades. Everyone wanted him last year. Knowing JK and his agent, wouldn't surprise me if he just sat out the season.

We have the leverage of being able to say no. JK just isn’t desirable.
