We all know what’s gonna happen with the #1 pick and we all are good with it. Well 99.5% of us.

With that being said this is for non QB conversion and I think I’m gonna start it off with two of Fernando’s WR’s with a little video from Steve Smith talking Cooper and Sarratt

BTW Steve Smith was the one who said Bech isn’t an NFL receiver.

A couple of early potential 2nd day draft crushes...

Chris Bell, WR, Louisville
R Mason Thomas, Edge, Oklahoma
Colton Hood, CB, Tenn
Keith Abney, CB, ASU
Gennings Dunker, OL, Iowa
Emmanuel Pregnon, OL, Oregon
Christen Miller, DT, Georgia
Chris Johnson, CB, SDSU
Brandon Cisse, CB, SC
Caleb Banks, DT, Florida
Monroe Freeling, OT, Georgia
Kadyn Proctor, OT/G, Alabama
Lee Hunter, DT, TT

Other guys like Vega Ioane, Caleb Lomu, Kayden McDonald, KC Concepcion, and Denzel Boston I'm loving too but doubt they drop.

I really, really like Bell and Banks. Injuries could knock them down but the talent is tough to pass on... they're both top 15 talents to me.

The easy decision right now, prior to FA, is the Raiders to take a OL in the 2nd round. However, they may bolster that unit in FA and then rely on the continued development of Rogers and Grant.

If they do that, then maybe DL or a WR, giving Mendoza another weapon.

Well depends on what and who is sitting there in the second round. Can’t pass on an obvious upgrade at another position just to try and force a OL into the equation.

2019 was before Hall of fame tone setters like Abram, Ruggs, Leatherwood and Arnette wasn’t it?

Just draft good players would have got you Ceedee and Darrisaw and Jefferson etc.

I think pretty much everyone to a man here wanted Cee Dee.

Seems like IDL, CB, and WR to a lesser extent are the value positions around the top of R2. All positions of need.

All things equal, I'd probably prioritize CB.

WR especially is a position I think you can find some value in the 2nd/3rd waves of FA. Eventually we'll need to add some primo talent but for an offense just getting its footing, I'd probably go boring and sign guys that can block and pick up 1st downs.

It's hard to get too far into the weeds without knowing anything about the coaching staff though.
