I'm sorry, I just don't see it at WR. I think he's special in terms of a return man. But at best he's Eric Metcalf and while that can be a dangerous threat that is the type of weapon you finish your roster with, not build around.

Jackson is definitely not the top guy on my list.

But he would represent an upgrade for this team, and I did read somewhere that he's got legit 4.29 speed.

You know Al will have a tough time passing on that. So I'm just preparing myself for the possibility. Oakland could be drafting in a spot that would have him among the choices.

He would be a good pick for a team that is close to making a SB run. He would be an amazing #3 WR and a hester like return man. We are far away from adding pieces like D.Jackson IMO.

With a little work on his body Jackson could have a Bernard Berrian kind of physique. Isaac Bruce.
 
Local word is he's coming out,... this guy was recruited by Tedford and he had some reservations but was assured Desean was leaving...but at 172 lbs for Desean,.... I'll pass.


BTW THAT guy Carl Moore will explode with Tebow.... you heard it here first. :)

Hopefully that slight frame will scare off 30 other teams, too, and Oakland can get him in the second round!

Glad someone else said it. Why not? Player that size, I could see him falling.

Funny how great that pick looks in the 2nd, but stinks in the 1st.

It only stinks if your picking top 15 IMO. With the game changing plays Hester has made. The fact that this kid is very similar with better WR skills is gonna make him more valuable than people think. Alot of teams still dont have a good return man. This guy also would be a killer slot reciever.

as a Cal fan, i could honestly say that i would never touch him with a first round pick

2nd round, sure, but definately not first

as a return man, he is awesome

as a WR, he is only good for screens, hitches and go's. Hawkins and Jordan were both far better receivers and alot of Cal's troubles this year had to do with Longshore's fixation on Jackson.

personally, i hope he stays in school another year and makes things easier on Riley
