If they have good measurables and can play corner, probably true.We could draft Civil War amputees and you would call it a good day.

Interesting that Spy comments that one of the things they looked for and saw in the 5 players drafted so far is… humility (in addition to competitiveness). Doesn’t exactly give you the feeling that Shaduer is in their consideration for day 3…
It could also be a message directly to him.Interesting that Spy comments that one of the things they looked for and saw in the 5 players drafted so far is… humility (in addition to competitiveness). Doesn’t exactly give you the feeling that Shaduer is in their consideration for day 3…
This is where he’s projected to go anyways so I don’t see how he’s a value here.Hes absolute value this late. I just don't see the fit.
Simply - strength of this class pushed some talented guys down. If this was a normal class - he would have been drafted by now. This is where he’s projected to go anyways so I don’t see how he’s a value here.
I am in the same boat as well. I kind of feel we dropped back a bit too much and lost out on some better prospects. I’m fine with Porter and the W&M tackle however. Not so keen on Bech and the OG.Possibly because he’s only been a corner for like a week and a half
Look, I’m not hating on any of these dudes but it seems like there was a better version of a position we ended up drafting that went right in front of us at least twice. As a rule I’d just rather have the better player than a bunch of draft picks. That’s all I’m saying.
Oh he’s a legend alright ! People will be talking about this for decades to come. At this stage I wonder if he is draftable. Knowing full well the media circus that will follow Sanders being picked this late in the game is he worth the hassle? He’s toxic at this point
Turns out he's more myth than legend.
I’m going with the whole concept of their “close relationship” was always overblown. It was used as a reason as to why Sanders is the chosen one and Brady may not have liked it. He’s been labeled as a “Brady” guy and then presented himself in quite the opposite fashion. It’s pretty clear that either Brady kept his mouth shut or Deon didn’t listen to Brady. I’m going with Deon didn’t listen.
Remember when there were rumblings about how he was expecting partial “ownership” of the team that drafted him !Remember when Deion was saying he wouldnt let the kid go to certain teams
Well this is the 32 teams saying No fuck you we decide not you
Wonderful karma

Pete drafted one of those a few years ago and yes he had outstanding numbers. Just played LB/SIf they have good measurables and can play corner, probably true.
Ayomanor fits this too.Jalen Royals still on the board. I thought he would have been gone by now. Would nicely round out the receiving corp. Also need some LBr's.
Tory Horton and Tez Johnson would be decent additions too if we grab another WR. Ricky White in the 6th/7th would be a decent swing too.Ayomanor fits this too.
Easy to second guess for the reasons you state. Spyguy and Pete plainly wanted to more picks. And they were happy with Bech as a fall back and Rogers was clearly part of the Day 2 plan—as was Grant to a lesser extent, if there (I think GM’s viewed him as a bigger project/risk than draftnicks). Porter was an obvious Day 2 target and as all the CB fell, it enabled Spyguy and Pete to go for more picks.I am in the same boat as well. I kind of feel we dropped back a bit too much and lost out on some better prospects. I’m fine with Porter and the W&M tackle however. Not so keen on Bech and the OG.
I feel as though we could have gotten a better player earlier in round 2 than to drop back again.
it does feel like the league is asserting a lesson here..Remember when Deion was saying he wouldnt let the kid go to certain teams

but he was a receiver, like Travis... which is a bonus as far as understanding the routes and ball skills.I think grant sits, gets stronger and becomes LT. Rogers competes at guard. Both had very good athletic scores, Bech was a solid pick. He catches everything and blocks well. He’s also got size. Porter is a wild card and I don’t love the pick because he’s older and hasn’t played corner much but he wasn’t a reach. I always want o linemen and we got two of ‘em.
Value is not reaching. Arif’s work shows that (non-medical/non-character) “steals” are overrated. Players fall for reasons missed by draftnicks (if character/medical, it’s just buyer be ware). This is where he’s projected to go anyways so I don’t see how he’s a value here.
