General Manager John Spytek and Head Coach Pete Carroll address the media to recap Rounds 2 and 3 of the 2025 NFL Draft.

Looking to tomorrow - its all role players, bpa, and a "pete" backup qb.

Ewers, Howard, Sanders or even a guy like McCord, cam Miller or montana st bobcat Tommy Mellott could be in the cards

There is just an abundance of good rbs left. Neal, tuten and blue are guys i target.

We could use more depth at wr. Royals and Ayomanor stick out. Bond is there but I'm avoiding like the plague. Restrepo and Ricky white are late targets

I have a lot of dts i like - walker, west, black, pegues and peebles. Different types. We need to come away with an NT at some point.

Linebacker are a day 3 staple. Paul, stutsman, Carter, mondon, bassa, Kiser and king are guys I like.

I don't see us being too into the edge market but we met with and Jack sawyer is a Pete type player

Porter filled a big need at cb. Ramsey could further help. But guys like Riley, Frazier, strong, and korie black could help with depth.

Not too impressed with the remaining safeties. Ransom, bowman, Woodson and wohlor stick out as potential names.

He's mostly outside, I think. Does both, but can play outside well enough to give Bech the lion's share of slot reps this year.
They both play both. IDK how all three play together, but Chip does, I’m guessing. We don’t draft Bech if not, no?

Those two and Bowers may be damn near interchangeable in terms of alignment.

Spytek referring to him as a slot guy does raise an eyebrow, but may not mean much in the end.
While we focused on a big, deep threat, I’ve heard slot as a need several times this offseason. We signed Chip’s former UCLA slot WR and brought Renfrow in. Apparently, Renfow’s no longer in the cards.

Good shit Lang. I’ll add Sampson to the RB group if we want to double dip.

220 is a little light for tackle I think.

Sharpe was more like 350.

Not now. Lotta 320 pound OTs in this draft, and Glaze was like 315- no?

Back then, 350 was on the heavier side. 335 maybe?

Between Jeanty and Porter, for the first time in a long time I like hearing draft picks talk about football. They both have a sense of what it means to play their positions, and they have a different version of quiet confidence combined with an awareness of how much they can and where they need to improve. Bech sounds like a LB.

I don’t know much about these day 2 picks so I won’t judge until I see them play but it seems we just missed on some more desirable players, which why I’m not a fan of trading back.
