Josh Turner's new album slays.

The Post Malone country album was interesting. His Hank Jr. duet was ridiculous fun.

Pride is more traditional old school country sounding for sure but I'm not sure that's a good thing. Just depends on what you like. Willie's music was less formulaic and a little folky. He benefited from the outlaw image thing and subsequent weed culture advocate but those were the listeners that he was speaking to anyway. Both got plenty of play in the home when I was a kid. Willie can be a tough listen just because of how slow a lot of his music is.

My father played two artists growing up: Pride and The Beach Boys. So they are among my favorites.

I never got into Willie that much. Probably because he doesn't use many traditional country instruments. I won't deny his impact but he isn't among my personal favorites. I like his work with Waylon.

Y'all know this lady? I am going to see her in concert at the Kentish Town Forum next March

Saw Ashley in Brighton with the soiree ornamented by a Sapphic marriage proposal. She said 'yes' with Ashley remarking 'that's rock and roll' Oh yes.

Lainey at the Giants-Cowboys game.

Half-decent spin move and a more-than- respectable end zone spike

Can't get a ticket for love nor money to see this callipygian chanteuse in the UK. I may have to go to effing Rotterdam.
