Non QB Draft thread

I just assumed that when @007 said the 6th ranked QB that the 2nd ranked QB went without saying.

I don't fucking get it.

There isn't a single prospect who's safe. We've done the SAFE route before. Gallery in 2004 over Rivers and Roethlisberger. Michael Huff over Matt Leinart and Jay Cutler. Those guys busted just like anyone else could.

You go out and draft Josh Rosen over Kolton Miller and at least you tried. But you go out and draft Robert Gallery over a half dozen Hall of Famers and you'll rightfully get fucking creamed in NFL circles.

Jets took a productive Jamal Adams at #6 in the 2017 NFL draft and passed on Mahomes and Watson. Think they'd take that back? Broncos took Bradley Fucking Chubb over Josh Allen in 2018 and then ran Case Keenum out there for 16 games at QB.

Here's the issue. The UPSIDE for drafting Arnold, Mitchell, Fuaga, or Latham is to be the Broncos or 49ers in 2018 or the Jets in 2017. You get a serviceable player and you still have Josh McCown, Case Keenum, Gardner Minshew as your QB. Maybe you passed on Josh Rosen. Or maybe you passed on Watson/Mahomes/Allen.

The downside is drafting Robert Gallery when 2 Hall of Famers were drafted in the following 2 picks and another at #11.
the horrible thing about Gallery is they were super obvious picks... I know anyone can bust, but those dudes were as sure as anyone's been
