In 1983, I was at an open market in Yechon, Korea. The meat at each booth was represented by the head of the animal it came from. One of the tables had what looked very much like a dog's head. One of the guys with us (he was 6 feet tall and very Black) started to freak out when he noticed it and the locals found it pretty funny.
Later than day we stopped to eat at one of those street cart type vendors. I wondered out loud if we were eating dog and my friend lost his shit again. It was great.
I still didn't know if it was dog tho...So I had mama-san add extra hot sauce just in case.
