If you can get Tez in the 5th I bite, don't care if he's 155lbs either.
Remember when Justin Jefferson was just a slot receiver?
Does anyone remember laughter?
Can you name all the 1st round picks that have played QB for us this century?I barely remember the Raiders winning a playoff game.
No.I dunno. This Willie Lampkin guy is really growing on me. Monster Senior Bowl, including one-on-one drills.
Will Campbell talks about how he uses his short arms for motivation and spends time during week doing film prep to be ready to handle the DEs he faces. If he can look good in the SEC at OT, I have a feeling Lampkin can play G at a medium level in the NFL.
Jordan Meredith had a decent year and he's like 6'2" and 300 pounds. Glaze, Lampkin, JPJ, Meredith, MIller?
Low guy wins, and there is something about heart, and of the unity of body and WILL. Maxx Cosby is outmassed by 100 pounds and can just overpower guys. The guy playing NT between Howie on one side and Bill Pickell/Lyle Alzado -- that was 12th round draft pick Reggie Kinlaw who played around 275 pounds and ate doubles all day. Yeah, a different NFL, but not for a NT.
I'd easily take him in the fourth for depth, and yes special situation FB.
Ya he has quite a bit to offer and it’s not all just athletic hype either. He was already at or near the top of the S board before the combine. He’s just not in our range IMO. Not worth a top 10 pick yet too many traits and decent tape to make it to round 2 I think…Would love this guy to replace Epps...
Riser: S Nick Emmanwori, South Carolina
Emmanwori may have solidified himself as a first-round pick with his performance in Indianapolis. He’s built like a linebacker at 6-foot-3 and 220 pounds, but he moves like a cornerback.
He ran an impressive 4.38-second 40-yard dash, ranking in the 96th percentile among safeties. His explosiveness was on full display as well, with a 43-inch vertical and an 11-foot-6 broad jump — both in the 98th percentile.
Malaki Starks has long been viewed as the top safety prospect, but after this showing, Emmanwori could push him for that title on some teams’ draft boards.
You know our new coach does love him some safeties... and we do stupid shit all the time. Penciling him into my lil Al at 1.6...Ya he has quite a bit to offer and it’s not all just athletic hype either. He was already at or near the top of the S board before the combine. If Pete can make him a Bobby Wagner and or Earl Thomas that’s fine with me. He has the size to play LB too….You know our new coach does love him some safeties... and we do stupid shit all the time. Penciling him into my lil Al at 1.6...
I could see Stinky nabbing this guy at 1.6.![]()

SCOUTING REPORT: SUMMARY
Emmanwori will likely be an immediate impact player at the next level, particularly for defensive coordinators creative enough to maximize his unique skill set. His rare blend of size and speed screams modern NFL safety, capable of matching up with tight ends, supporting the run, and roaming the deep middle. Think a more explosive version of Kam Chancellor with better man coverage skills.
Any team running a heavy-quarters coverage scheme should have Emmanwori circled in red on their draft board. His ability to play in the box, handle man coverage responsibilities, and deliver bone-crushing hits makes him an ideal fit for defenses that ask their safeties to wear multiple hats. While he'll need some technical refinement in zone coverage, his athletic traits and football intelligence suggest a high ceiling as he develops.
The NFL is trending toward hybrid defenders who can counter modern offensive attacks, and Emmanwori fits that mold perfectly. His combination of size, speed, and physicality should make him an early contributor, with Pro Bowl potential if he lands with a defensive staff willing to move him around the formation.
Prefer to trade down and draft him.I could see Stinky nabbing this guy at 1.6.

I didn't say we should... just that Stinky might.
PFF’s down on him tooWeaknesses
- Drifts through games without urgency at times.
- Inconsistent downhill trigger in run support.
- Block take-on and pursuit angles need improvement.
- Gives too much ground to blockers instead of bypassing.
- Hip tightness limits transition quickness in space.
- Average instincts and route anticipation.
