My hat is off to the Broncos

I am pretty darn impressed with this team. I did not think much of this team when the season started. I had them in last place. They got off to a good start, but I wondered if they could have kept this up. They started beating great teams in the Pats and the Jags. I thought they would be slumping now, but they just keep winning. I am pretty impressed with how consistent they are in terms of winning and style of play each week. When you can sustain this every Sundays, you got yourself a special team. I could see them in the AFC Championship Game or maybe go all the way for sure.

I think you gotta give Coach of the Year is Shanny. I thought Shanny lost it in recent years, but he sure proved me, Mark Kiszla, Jay Luewenberg, and his critics wrong. You can make a case for Lovie Smith and Tom Coughling for the award, but Coughlin has lot of talent to work with and Lovie is benefitting from a horrible division though his team is not that bad as they showed Sunday.

Hats off to the Broncos.

I'll agree with you there. I too thought the Broncos would be in last place in the AFC West but they shut my mouth.

At this point I think you have to make them the second best team in the league.

We'll see how they do when the playoffs come and things really count.

Grudgingly I'd have to agree about the broncos. I really thought their defense would be a mess, the O-line would be old and not quite the same and Jake Plummer would realize that he was, well, Jake Plummer. None of those things happend and they look very solid.

Gotta' love the AFC West. I may hate Denver, KC & SD, but they certainly make for great Mortal Enemies don't they? What history, Hopefully we can start racking up some wins against these teams in 2006....
