Here's mine...so far. We trade Moss for a second rounder and package both 2's for another mid-#1.

1.a JaMarcus Russell (QB)
1.b Marshawn Lynch (RB)
3.a Kyle Young (C)
3.b Johnny Harline (TE)
4. Tony Ugoh (T)
5a. Paul Williams (WR)
5b. Best o-lineman available
6. Best o-lineman available
7. Best o-lineman available

I'm getting a little aroused just thinking about it.

That would be a major coup if we could bag both JRUss and MLynch in the first.
Kyle Young was on my wish list a few months back but I think if we draft a center, it will be Khalil. Kiffen wants an athletic center and who better?

This is fun. I'll play too.

1) JaMarcus Russell QB LSU
* You all know how I feel about our QB position. Other than O-line, its our weakest link. Russell is too talented to pass up here. Big, strong, good arm, young, coachable and mobile enough to survive.

2) Zach Miller TE ASU
* Sounds wierd but he reminds me of Todd Christensen. Probably wont be that dynamic, but he is a player and well worthy of a second rounder.

3) Anonio Pittman RB OSU

* He is a solid prospect, who is more of a complimentary guy, but he has potential.

3) Paul Williams WR Fresno

* This guy has all the physical tools in the world, but he wasnt a factor in his offense. He is a second round talent, IMO.

4) Manuel Ramirez OG Texas Tech

* Beastly. Huge, strong and a mauler. Just what the doc ordered.

5) Sabby Piscatelli S Oregon

* He hits hard, and is a bit under the radar. Good size too.

5) Andrew Carnahan OT ASU

* 6-8 300 pounds, athletic and has the potential Oakland craves. West coast kid too.

6) Cory Anderson FB Alabama
* 6-3 255 typical lead blocker. We could use him.

7) Jeff Samardzija WR ND

* Take a flyer on a top 20 talent. Baseball might fall through, Drew Henson style.

A few notes:

a) I tried to make it as realistic as possible. No Lynch or Jarrett in round 2 etc. Not trade downs. We've never done it before, so I don't assume we'll start now...

b) I truly think Kiffin and company will stick with Gallery/Grove for 1 more season at those two spots, and sign some veteran lineman, hence why I didnt make it a priority

c) I don't see a DT of value at any point where we pick. Probably should add one, but this is a very early mock.

Nice try fellas. I know this thread was started to get an early look at the Bonesdraft but not a chance...I'll wait for the Lil Al...

This is our dream draft, don't be such a stick in the mud, afterall it's a crapshoot after round three anyway.

There's not enough bandwidth to post my dream draft, it'd involve trading Porter, Moss, the number 1 pick, boogying up and down Day 1, and winding up with Marshawn Lynch, 3 O-linemen, a DE, a DT, a WR, a TE, and a QB.

As it is, I think everyone is already trying to figure out how to shoehorn that Carriker kid into our pick at the top of the 2nd.

1) Adrian Peterson RB OU
2) Adam Carriker DE NU
3) A) Troy Smith QB OSU
3) B) Brian Leonard RB Rutgers (compensatory pick for Chaz)
4) Baraka Atkins DE Miami
5) A) Marcus Thomas DT UF
5) B) Joel Filani WR Texas Tech (5th rounder for Doug Gabriel)
6) Kevin Boss TE Western Oregon
7) Andre Bennett OT Grambling State

... this goes along with signing Eric Steinbach and Leonard Davis.

I had Baraka pretty even with Mkristo Bruce but gave Bruce the nod because he's a PAC 10 guy

I like the three top forty picks you snagged in rounds 2 and 3...:D

Leonard would be awesome, but it worries me that he is so set on being a halfback.

H-back/FB and he is the perfect weopon, IMO.

Carriker is an absolute stud. Troy Smith has been head shoulders above every other QB at the senior bowl.

I would love your draft brother.

I will shit my pants in glee if we can make that happen.

Sadly, I think we can file that under the 'we're trading up for Ricky Williams' wish list.

1. Adrian Peterson (Al mentioned him, Lane recruited him.Instant running game)
2. Tony Ugoh (Mauler RT to run block)
3. Brian Leonard (Utilizing players huh Lane, this guys a weapon)
4. Matt Spaeth (C.Anderson.. Ya Fired)
5. Best Possible D-Line/O-LIne (who ever drops at DE or C)

I thought id make one without JR!

Well, it is a dream draft, after all.

Troy Smith might have dropped out of the top 40 after the national title game. I can only hope.

I can't imagine Leonard works out well enough to go in the top 40.

I was only razzin Jack, you didnt notice me slide the Shark in round 7?

I figure Leonard is making a huge judgement error by dropping to 225. He's smaller, slower and less agile than Tony Hunt and Mike Bush.

If he stayed at 240 and still had his hands and speed, he'd be the epitome of a perfect H-back/fullback.

Troy Smith may have dropped, but he sure as hell is climbing back up into the top 3-4 QB's. Very nice senior bowl.

I was alot more sure of who I wanted top to bottom last year... I really want to fall in love with a RT prospect, but the pickings are slim this year IMO...

Freakshow's scenario of somehow walking away with Russell and Lynch makes my nipples hard enough to cut glass... With the exception of the Paul Williams pick, my tastes fall pretty similar with 007's....

As of today, and I'm going to hope we take care of the RT and TE spots in free agency with one of Leonard Davis/Jon Runyan and Daniel Graham/Jim Kleinsasser/Eric Johnson:

1) JaMarcus Russell QB LSU

I'd really like to be in position to take future sturd Adrian Peterson here, but there are enough red flags on Andrew Walter that makes passing on a potential franchise QB really difficult... Al tried to trade the farm to get John Elway just two years removed from spending a mid 1st RD pick on Marc Wilson, so I don't think he's afraid to eat a pick for a player with what would be termed 'special talents'....

2) JaLawrence Timmons OLB Fla St.

I don't know if he'll make it to the top of 2 and it's certainly not a major need, but I see alot of Takeo Spikes in him....In a span of three years we'll have gone from having average LB's to lining up Timmons, Morrison, and Howard across the board with Sam, Bing and Thomas providing depth....

3) JaSampson Satele OC/OG Hawaii

May seem like a homer pick, but I really thought he was the best pivot I saw all year...Strong as hell, adept at shotgun snap and also played at a first day level as an OG... Real take charge of the team and lead kind of guy... The time he's spent in the offseasons working with Olin Kruetz has rubbed off temperment wise....

3) JaMarcus Thomas DT Florida

This is about where I figure teams will start overlooking the suspension and drug arrest to take a chance on someone who otherwise would have been probably a mid 1st Rd pick... Turn him over to Keith Millard and hope the kid has matured...

4) JaSyvelle Newton WR South Carolina

One of my favorite prospects in this draft... Ex QB's just seem to have a knack for getting open as WR's... I think this is a guy that a coach could move around to create mismatches much the way the Steelers did with Randle-El... I love receivers that can make plays after the catch...

5) JaXzavie Jackson DE Missouri

Doesn't get alot of pub and good luck pronouncing his name, but every time I've watched him he's been unblockable rushing the passer... Still raw since I think he played TE til 2 years ago, but he reminds me alot of Bertrand Berry...

5) JaGary Russell RB Minnesota

When he was splitting time with Maroney, I thought he was actually the better back... Explosive is the word I'd use... Too bad he couldn't get out of his own way... Had he kept his grades up and been able to play this year, we may have been talking about him in the same breath with Marshawn Lynch IMO...

6) JaDustin Fry OC/OG Clemson

Big and strong... may be a guy to stash on the practice squad and develop as a guard...

7) JaDante Rosario TE/FB/H-back Oregon

I won't even pretend to know we'll draft and frankly, I barely watched college football over the last 3 years. You guys seem to have done your homework. All I can really do is read the opinions pieces from the "experts".

As to FA, I'd like Runyan, but I don't get the feeling he's a West Coast guy from hearing his radio interviews over the years. Also, I can't see him uprooting his family from Philly to Oakland, particularly to go to a team that (on paper) has less chance of winning than his current situation.

In short, I think he's pipedream. I think we'll overpay for Leonard Davis, draft a couple of guys have them compete with Gallery, Gove (yuck), Boothe & McUgly.

Bush in 2... I'm not high on bush and say no

Kalil in 3 would be nice

Spaeth is good but not my fave pick here

Bruce is a house and id love him in 4

no to mcclain in 5

rest is gravy.

id be ok with that draft but it could be soooo much better.
