I saw Clutch in their prime it was a rad show.

They were probably the band that I had seen the most at one point. Back in the club days. Now they seem to be either a festival band or a mid sized venue with barriers band. Plus, the music isn’t as good as it used to be.

I think their last great album was Blast Tyrant. After that, they turned into ZZ Top. Don’t get me wrong, I like ZZ Top, I just don’t need two of them.

Down and Helmet tomorrow night!!! The only bummer is Down has been playing the same set list every night. I was hoping for some variety but it looks like it’s mostly their first album.

They couldn't recreate the same magic on the other albums, unfortunately. NOLA was just special.

Honestly, I’m just excited to see them. Lifer, Losing All, and Temptation’s Wings will be highlights for sure.

I remember when Down II dropped. Seeing "New Orleans Is a Dying Whore" on the track list got a good laugh out of us. "That oughta be good."

It boils down to the fact that I get to see cool musicians playing cool music. I usually try to avoid places with crowd barriers, but I’m making an exception for this one. I have a bunch of shows lined up for the fall/winter. I’m so happy.

Took two strippers to see them live in 2001. Sister Machine Gun and Hantzel und Gretyl opened for them.

I can't change the station fast enough when Bob Seger comes on. Post And Justice for All Metallica playing it is that much worse.
