Picked up tickets for Social D and the Descendants in Reno late September. I was on the fence but I'm starting to wonder how many more tours Ness has left in him. Plus my wife loves Reno for whatever reason.
 
Some of this AI music is getting really good in a creepy way. I wonder how this is going to play out on the music industry.
 
I asked Chat GPT to write me a song that was a mix of Sabbath and Priest. Spit it out in 5 seconds. If I had it connected to Ableton it probably could produce the entire song.
Love that combination — early heavy doom groove + leather-jacket speed and momentum. I’ll keep the influence at a high level (dark riff-driven metal, dramatic hooks, galloping energy), but make it an original song rather than imitate either band directly.

I use it primarily for work emails. Mostly the ones where I want to tell someone to eat shit and die in a professional tone. ;)

It's good for summarizing one of those email chains that are months old that finally got to me.

Oh I use the hell out of it for that. I just meant AI music. But yeah, I've worked in an administrative type role for 15 years now and I've never really been able to develop the vernacular so ChatGPT is my go-to there. So much so that I usually have to dumb it back down a bit to not be too obvious.
