I was inspired for this thread after seeing the post about a Christmas Story sequel.

I have never seen A Christmas Story, National Vacation, Jaws, Blues Brothers.

I fell asleep trying to watch one of the Rings movies, and I watched the last (I think) Potter movie with a woman I used to fool with because she wanted to watch it. I didn't get into it. I've never seen any of the others.

All of the Marvel stuff.

I have no doubts a bunch of them are super fun or entertaining.

Its overwhelming for a guy not invested in it though if you get behind. "Have you seen the rumor for the phase 6 release?!?" What the fuck phase is it now?

I remember I watched a Captain America and an Avengers and they were fun. I enjoyed them.

Then I got behind and they had Ant Mans and Hulks and Thor movies. I missed a few and tried to watch one on TV and Captain America was different and Iron Man was dead LMFAO.

Every character who ever said a line had 2-3 spin off movies and TV shows and I ended up getting behind. Who the fuck is Shang Chi? What the fuck are the Eternals?

Too far behind to even consider diving in now.

You just described one of the many issues (pun intended) with modern comics.
 
The latest Star Wars episodes, Transformer series, Harry Potter series and any of the super hero movies except for the first Deadpool.

I think I've read enough that I may have only missed about 15% of the references
 
Autocorrect turned that first movie into "Citizen Came", and now I really want to know if that movie exists. :sneak:

I'm going to assume that there's a pretty good chance that there's an 80's porno with that title. Not sure if I want to see what image they'll use when he whispers rosebud.
