Gremlins done properly is easy to work with. Just don't have Gizmo unless he is some ancient being. New story, new Mogwai.

Goonies is rumored to have all or most of the original cast back as themselves and it's basically passing the baton to a new generation. Not sure how well that will go over.

I took my AP year old today. Jack Black did his usual shtick so it was fun. At least for a movie based on a game that I totally don’t get. The things we do for our children.

I don’t care for Wes Anderson and his lame hipster movies, with the slight exception of Life Aquatic.

Agree. Gremlins is easy to do, for the most part. I hate taking”passing the baton” movies, so I think Goonies just wouldn’t work. How the fuck wants to see a skinny Chunk anyway?
