Have no idea how a studio would think a live action Minecraft is a good idea. Plus it stars 2 of the 4 actors guaranteeing a shit movie.

It was okay…. Took my boys to see it today. They are 10 and 11 so they were happy. Jack Black to me is never a good thing and no it didn’t work for me here either. Monoa was just okay in a Tiger King way… Not the worst kids movie I have seen but not the best either. The 3D was kinda lame too. Whatever happened to shit flying at you ? This is the 2nd movie in recent years where that was lacking.

All in all kids were happy.

Both my kids (19, 21) saw it and said it was pretty much hot flaming shit. They still play the game as well, so it's not as if they don't get the jokes and all that.

Ya my oldest (24) said he would only go see it if he had to take his little brothers. Seeing how he’s in Cali now I ended up being the sacrificial lamb.
