I haven't watched a ton of new movies, but when I was laid up last year with the Achilles injury I binge watchced all the Marvel movies for something to do.

2 come to mind.

1. Dude gets all the infinity stones, snaps fingers, wipes out half of population... remarkably wasn't one of those wiped out.

2. Captain America Civil War - dude had like a 87 point plan to get the Avengers to turn against each other - Plan goes off without a hitch LOL.

The one that has bugged me since I was a kid haha:

Why the fuck does Skynet only ever send one terminator back?

They should just send a bunch of them and get the shit dealt with lol.

Because they want to eliminate John Connor with minimal impact to the existing timeline? A bunch of terminators increases the chance of discovery and Skynet never getting built in the first place.

God dammit you little shit!

It still bugs me haha.

I wouldn't say those are plot holes just more like overly contrived events based on good fortune and luck.

1. 50/50 chance of being wiped out. And let's face it, it is a work of fiction. Anything "lucky" can be considered contrived. Notice how Iron Man, Cap, Thor, and Hulk (the big four) survived the Snap.

2. Staple of the genre. The chess-master villain always seems to predict every move (Xanatos, Doctor Doom, etc). And most of his plan if I recall revolved around the Winter Soldier and Iron Man's reaction to his parents' deaths. And I think, he was improvising but I need to re-watch the movie to be sure.
