I liked Ford vs Ferrari as well.

All current on Yellowstone. I like it but there’s a “could jump the shark at any second” undercurrent to it.

Finished “Hightown.” It was decent. I’ll watch season 2.

100%.

Too many girly scenes and not enough of Rip kicking ass. Him, Costner, and Jimmy are keeping it watchable.

Probably one of the best Netflix originals.

There’s gotta be a sequel coming too.
It comes from a comic series, so there's definitely more story to tell. Apparently the director and the comic writer envisioned a trilogy movie series.

Wife and daughter been watching this marathon of Twilight on E! all God damn day. We have other TV in the house but I was making potato salad earlier. Then making ribs later and this shit has been on all day. Don't even get it. The vampires have a disagreement then the werewolves show up. Rinse repeat. For over 12 hours. WTF

I was pleasantly surprised with what they did with Jimmy. It looked like he was going to be the stock “always a fuck up” character but I really like the way they’ve brought that character along. And, Rip is the best character. Jamie is a bitch, Kaycee is a bore, and Beth is so batshit crazy.

A couple Saturdays ago I watched Ford vs Ferrari. Good flick.

Been trying to watch this Perry Mason show on HBO. The era like Boardwalk Empire is hard to follow at times. Trying to like it.

Anyone ever watch F*ck that's Delicious? On Vice. My son turned me on to it as and another show on Vice. Pretty cool food show. These guys love to eat. Anyone see Action Bronson in The Irishman?

I'm two episodes into Perry Mason, it's just slow... I haven't found much else to watch lately though.

I watched a season of Alone where they dropped these people off in the arctic in the fall. brutal! Kinda cool to watch people try to survive in difficult environments like that.

I want to watch Yellowstone but every avenue I try wants me to pay for it to start from the beginning. Is it free on any of the services?

We got lucky and DVRed the marathon that they ran before the new season started. We ran into the same problem last year and just happened to see that the marathon was starting.

There may be a delay with it. It was weird last year we watched the entire season for free on demand but then it wanted us to pay for the last episode. Waited a couple of weeks and then it was free. Possibly your provider or plan doesn't include the channel too but yeah I had similar issues.

Palm Springs on Hulu is a good movie to watch with the misses. It’s like if Groundhog Day and 50 First Dates had a baby...pretty funny. Rated R so it’s raunchy comedy. 8/10.

It's been a hit for Netflix so hopefully we'll see some follow through on that. I was a little hesitant after reading an article going on about what a great thing it was to have the leads of an action movie portrayed as gay and thinking the PC factor was going to get shoved down the audiences throats, but not really. I guess Theron's character was supposed to be gay but it's not highlighted on at all. A couple of the supporting leads are in a gay relationship but in a who gives a shit kind of way. Not really sure if this was a consistent with the comics or something added for the movie they did a good job of balancing it in a way that seems to have made everyone happy. Not an easy these days. Not going to win any Oscars or anything but a huge step up for Netflix IMO.

My issue too... haven’t caught a marathon to record on cable and I’m not paying more to watch it. Starting re-watching Designated Survivor. First season is great and Sutherland is one of my favorites.

Yeah, maybe shelve it for a year and pay attention to when the next season is going to start - then they’ll replay it all for free.

So I tried again on Xfinity and they added the Peacock App to the platform and now can get all seasons and will start watching Yellowstone.

Been watching Hell on Wheels (AMC but available on Netflix) and so far pretty good. About the building of the Railroads post Civil war.

I was watching that a while back. Had to take a break... when I binge shows I tend to stop paying attention after a few episodes and then get lost. I'll circle back around though.

Watched The Outpost tonight, damn that shit was intense. I’d have never made it over there.

So we have the box set of “Downton Abbey.” Is it something good or something to watch because she wants to watch it?

Wifey loved it but I couldnt get into it.

From the couple episodes I watched it kinda of just crawls around but if you are into the character driven period pieces it might be your jam.

I'm too dumb for that haha. Need me some action.
