Yeah a lot of his stuff is legit, just him basically heckling the audience. It’s different. I like it. He’s always been good on podcasts and stuff too.

Yeah that’s it. Thought I’d turn it off after a few minutes but ended up watching the whole thing. Perfect amount of ridiculousness, humor, and gratuitous violence.
 
Probably just dumb enough to entertain me haha.

I saw the trailer and thought of Death Race with Statham haha.

Fun and ridiculous start to finish. So terrible it’s good.
 
1917. Why was this movie so hyped? Formulaic and boring. Wish I’d have watched almost anything else.

We’ve been watching “Yellowstone.” About to watch the season 2 finale in the next couple of days and get caught up. Mostly good, despite some moments of lazy writing.

Watched Hightown, too. It’s juuuust good enough to keep me watching.

Yes, that's a brilliant film.

I liked 1917 as well, although the internal logic of it was all twisted up, which was distracting. But if you ignore that, then it was enjoyable. Had a good oppressive feel to it and to its protagonists' experiences.

Having said that, the title did remind me of that line in Blackadder when they're about to go over the top - "This attack is bound to succeed and it will bring to an end the Great War of 1914 to 1917."

Yellowstone is my show with the wife. It's basically cowboy Sons of Anarchy but we like it.

Some of the characters are unbearable though.
 
That’s funny! Midway through the first season, I asked the girlfriend “Do you think Cowboys watch this the same way bikers watched SOA, thinking ‘Give me a fucking break’ the whole time?”
 
Just introduced the 5 year old grandson to “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.”

What’s that? Do we both have lightning shaped “scars” drawn on our foreheads in black sharpie now? What a weird question to ask and yes.
 
A couple Saturdays ago I watched Ford vs Ferrari. Good flick.

Been trying to watch this Perry Mason show on HBO. The era like Boardwalk Empire is hard to follow at times. Trying to like it.

Anyone ever watch F*ck that's Delicious? On Vice. My son turned me on to it as and another show on Vice. Pretty cool food show. These guys love to eat. Anyone see Action Bronson in The Irishman?

All current on Yellowstone. I like it but there’s a “could jump the shark at any second” undercurrent to it.

Finished “Hightown.” It was decent. I’ll watch season 2.
