Maxx Crosby - HE’S BAAACK.

Probably going to lease a Kia EV 9 GT-Line for my wife tomorrow. will be first electric car for us

Nice bitch. I had you more of a Rivian guy. :D Kia has come a long way since they first started making cars for the American consumer.

While I would love a new vehicle, I just love having no car payments.

The Cybertruck is literally just that weird looking car kids used to draw in school. Looks like a Transformer toy I used to have that never actually made an appearance on the cartoon.

Me and grandkids drove down to San Diego awhile back, and as soon as we got over the grapevine, we saw a million of those ugly trucks painted every color in the rainbow! Guess they're trying to put lipstick on a pig...lol

Ya I tend to agree. It won’t even get the “so ugly it’s cool” mark like the Volkswagen Thing.

I have a buddy that's really into the old Volkswagens. He just dropped a shitload of cash on a 66(?) bus. I've been to a few shows with him and gotten to the not for me but I can appreciate it point. VW folks are all pretty cool people too.

Yeah they make good cars. Rivians are pricey and I’m not sure they will stay in business

Cars are gone. The lobbying exemptions for SUVs and trucks from the last round of CAFE standards means there will only two cars produced in the US market for the 2026 model year by a US company.

Ford will make the Mustang.

Chevrolet will make the Corvette.

Dodge will make no car.
Dodge will make the Viper and kill both of those cars.

#Raiders Maxx Crosby hasn’t been the same as his career self as a pass rusher, still with near career lows in win rate and pressure rate though the last 4 weeks have increased them greatly.

As a run defender he’s the best in the NFL and not close. His run stop win rate (47%) is 12% higher than any other EDGE defender, he’s 2nd in TFL and on pace to break 30. Additionally his 92 run stop wins are 37 higher than the next EDGE rusher.

His pass rush double team rate has risen to 48% over the last 4 weeks and his run defense double team rate stands at 57% with teams running to his side of the field just 14% of the time

They have to trade him. At this point, it would be malpractice not to. Get a first and second and move on.

Maxx's commitment to winning is unquestionable. I wish he would do what my second Pop Warner coach insisted: don't abandon your assignment. He went inside at least three times against the Chargers and gave up three first downs on third and long because he had been responsible for contain.

That is not unheard of for a Raider player of his stature -- and there have been others -- to do. What it takes is the OLB on his side to see that and change gap responsibilities. If I were drafting for D, I'd be willing to overdraft a SAM who I saw did that.

Roberts can only play downhill and barely reads anything; White is a mess.

Maxx has been doing that since he got here. Best thing that can be done is to scheme around him the way the Steelers did with Polamalu, among other examples.

I'm not sure how much down to down value a true SAM backer has these days, but having a good one would still be useful 25% of the time, I reckon.

There are 10 other players on the defense contributing nothing.

The least they can collectively do is clean up for Maxx.

My opinion on Maxx remains the same, if he wants to be traded then I grant him that… he’ s earned it. If he’s willing to go through another coaching change, including likely firing Graham/Leonard as well, then I’m obviously okay with him sticking around too.

I'd be alright with him sticking around if I thought him being here would help us win 10 games. That isn't happening. He's not doing us any good whatsoever in the win department (not his fault).

I'd much rather get traded him and get a 1 and 2 for and try like hell to rebuild this bitch.

It's really the only sensible thing to do. Use him in a move to 1.1 if needed.
