Maxx Crosby - HE’S BAAACK.

I could be happy only listening to music that came out between 1975 and 1985. It’s about the best 10 year stretch for music with plenty of diversity.
Agreed

The last 40 years of the century were pretty solid. I wouldn't want to give up the grunge from the 90s either.
Things started to slide pretty hard this century...

Early 70s through late 90s is the sweet spot for me.

Definitely some good pre 70s stuff though.

2000 plus is rough. I guess Y2K was a bigger deal than we realized.

I think the only band to come out this century that I really like is Arctic Monkeys...

I'd have to keep the British Invasion and then probably kill it no later than 2010, and I'm being very generous.

Anything late 70s to early 80's you can play while you are on a boat is smooth to me.

LOL. I was just listening to them this weekend. "Do I wanna know" is a bad ass song. I think Bacardi or one of the rum companies used the song in their ads.

I guess I need to give Arctic Monkeys a chance.

Actually a reaction video of you listening to Arctic Monkeys might be pretty entertaining.

My kid loves them so I hear it a lot. It just reminds me of that Franz Ferdinand, Strokes, Killers, etc. kinda stuff. People that watch Friends and drink hard cider type of music.

Well, maybe not, then.

I don't know. Some amazing stuff came out in the 60's and early 70's. Not just r-n-roll but that was the heyday of Motown.
Ya I wouldn’t do it by choice but if I had to narrow it down to a 10 year span I think that’s where I’d be fine with my choice. Get a little this and a little that of everything I like. I may miss out on some of my “raver days” music that I liked for a while but that’s just all good I can pull up old Kraftwerk old old school Detroit House music.

Only real negatives of that era is disco…
