I miss the old school like Tribe, Biggy, Digital Underground, Freestyle Fellowship. Those cats knew how to sample. You don't hear any of that shit anymore.

Yah the hip hop sounds all canned, there's no new good rock-n-roll bands anymore. The best music was produced in the 60's and 70's. All the great r-n-r, r&b music came out then. When's the last great r&b song that came out?

Which are all based on the Tom Tom Club's "Genius of Love" (1981)

Part of it is probably because we spend less time looking for new music now than we did as kids. Obviously the bigger part is that new music sucks though.
