That's just inexcusable. He's been paid way too much for the production he has brought. I also had read that he didn't attend the Von Miller offseason DE clinic that Maxx usually attends.

The o-line would look very different today had they just took one of the guards staring at them in the second round rather than trading back and taking two guys at the end of the third round with a long stretch of no o-lineman coming off the board at that point.

It seems like I find myself wanting the Raiders to move up every year back into the second round rather than trade back for warm bodies. Three fourth round picks to work with and two more in the sixth surly they can do better than warm bodies and a couple flyers on division two QB's this year.

I think you are dead on. I was a trade down and accumulate guy and then I finally got to see that and it sucked.

Go get Mendoza and a stud OL to help him. Trading down for bums like Bech and Tommy Mellott is useless.

At 2.36, could be sitting in a CB sweat spot for Johnson, Cisse and Ponds. I’m guessing only one is them is off the board.

Hindsight being 20/20, trading down for Bech was ill advised but we did draft 2 OL in the 3rd. Grant was drafted as someone who could be an heir apparent to Kolton. I put most of the OL woes on Carroll and Sons who should have gotten those guys up to speed earlier in the season.

FWIW, was watching a Bucky Brooks podcast about which direction Vegas might go and he still feels that Bech can still be a weapon if used properly as a possession type receiver. Says not going to outrun anyone but has good size and hands and is a decent blocker. I know pretty much everyone to a man here is down on the pick but I'd like to see him in a competent offense with a competent QB before I throw him under the bus.

Det traded up and drafted G Tate Ratledge at 2.57, right before we picked. And Ratledge had a nice year. He was one of two G drafted in the 2nd round. Three OT were drafted in the 2nd at 48, 54, 56, just before we drafted Bech too.

I dont think Johnson gets out of they first.I saw Johnson mocked in the first to KC of all teams. Kid is just a baller. I saw his comp as Christian Gonzalez FML. Cisse and Ponds will be there.
