I didn't know they would shit the bed with the picks. What I did know was the timing was fucking horseshit. Trading away your best player right before the season starts is just a buzzkill for everyone including the players on that team. Basically doomed that season before it started.
IDGAF if we trade Maxx as long as it's before FA/Draft so we can put together the squad we are going to war with.

Yah I wasn't happy with that deal. He was arguably one of the best defensive player at the time. Supposedly according to Mack, Gruden never even once reached out to him. Gruden was arguably the worst talent evaluator this club has ever seen. Him and Mayock just shit picks away.

I think it would be cool AF if Khalil came back and finished his career here. He's a shell of the player he was but still productive at his age.
 
I may have skipped past this one if posted already but I like it. Maxx to the Bucs for Calijah Kancey a 1st and a 3rd.

Leonard and Kubz are in his ear…especially Leonard. As long as we put REAL players around him for once,(Oweh, Edmunds, and Dean plz) and in this new 3-4, he can have the best year of his career and make our front seven a menace!

We need more than just a few LB’s to fix this defense. Not to mention the O

I just don’t think the timeline matches keeping Maxx unless we want a Bengals situation with their DE.

I dunno…you add certain players like Oweh Edmunds and Dean to this front seven, along with a NT of some sort? maybe you add Banks at 36 if he’s there? Those kind of additions could transform this front 7.

it would appease Maxx to have actual players around him for once in his career. Most everyone around him is a FA except for a couple of DT’s…so it’s hard to judge
