Is there a chance he could fall far enough to reasonably trade up for in the bottom of the 1st?
The underlined teams seem to definitley be in the market for a RB:
1) Oakland -
2) Detroit - Kevin Jones (injury question mark)
3) Cleveland - Rueben Droughns
4) Tampa Bay - Cadillac Williams
5) Arizona - Edgerrin James
6) Washington - Ladell Betts/ Portis
7) Minnesota - Chester Taylor
8) Houston - Dominic Davis (injury)/Ron Dayne
9) Miami - Ronnie Brown
10) Atlanta - Jerious Norwood/Warrick Dunn
11) San Francisco - Frank Gore
12) Buffalo - Willis McGahee
13) St. Louis - Steven Jackson
14) Carolina - Deangelo Williams
15) Pittsburgh - Willie Parker
16) Green Bay - Ahman Green
17) Jacksonville - Maurice Drew/Fred Taylor
18) Cincinnati - Rudi Johnson
19) Tennessee - Travis Henry/Lendale White
20) NYG - Brandon Jacobs
21) Denver - Tatum Bell/Mike Bell
22) New England - Lawrence Maroney
23) Dallas - Marion Barber/ Julius Jones
24) Kansas City - Larry Johnson
25) New Orleans - Reggie Bush/Duece
26) NYJets - Ced Houston/Kevin Barlow
27) Philadelphia - Brian Westbrook
28) New England - Maroney
29) Indianapolis - Rhodes/Addai
30) Baltimore - Jamal Lewis/Mike Anderson
31) Chicago - Thomas Jones/ Cedrick Benson
32) San Diego - LT
The Jets are said to covet Michael Turner and Portis may be on the trade market and would seem like a natural fit with Houston and his ex coach Gary Kubiak, so a couple of those teams may look at them instead... TJ Ducket also figures into the equation and would be a good guy to pair with Westbrook in Philly...
Say it goes:
1) Raiders: Jamarcus Russell
2) Lions: Adrian Peterson
3) Browns: Brady Quinn
If Houston doesn't take Lynch at 8 (and their fans seem to want an OT), the next team to look at him should be Green Bay at 16... Personally, I figure he would go to GB but their fans seem to think CB or WR should be their pick... if Green Bay doesn't take him he figures to drop all the way to the Jets/Philly area...
Would it be too much to ask to walk away with both Russll and Lynch?....
