Is there a chance he could fall far enough to reasonably trade up for in the bottom of the 1st?

The underlined teams seem to definitley be in the market for a RB:

1) Oakland -
2) Detroit - Kevin Jones (injury question mark)
3) Cleveland - Rueben Droughns
4) Tampa Bay - Cadillac Williams
5) Arizona - Edgerrin James
6) Washington - Ladell Betts/ Portis
7) Minnesota - Chester Taylor
8) Houston - Dominic Davis (injury)/Ron Dayne
9) Miami - Ronnie Brown
10) Atlanta - Jerious Norwood/Warrick Dunn

11) San Francisco - Frank Gore
12) Buffalo - Willis McGahee
13) St. Louis - Steven Jackson
14) Carolina - Deangelo Williams
15) Pittsburgh - Willie Parker
16) Green Bay - Ahman Green
17) Jacksonville - Maurice Drew/Fred Taylor
18) Cincinnati - Rudi Johnson
19) Tennessee - Travis Henry/Lendale White
20) NYG - Brandon Jacobs

21) Denver - Tatum Bell/Mike Bell
22) New England - Lawrence Maroney
23) Dallas - Marion Barber/ Julius Jones
24) Kansas City - Larry Johnson
25) New Orleans - Reggie Bush/Duece
26) NYJets - Ced Houston/Kevin Barlow
27) Philadelphia - Brian Westbrook
28) New England - Maroney
29) Indianapolis - Rhodes/Addai
30) Baltimore - Jamal Lewis/Mike Anderson
31) Chicago - Thomas Jones/ Cedrick Benson
32) San Diego - LT

The Jets are said to covet Michael Turner and Portis may be on the trade market and would seem like a natural fit with Houston and his ex coach Gary Kubiak, so a couple of those teams may look at them instead... TJ Ducket also figures into the equation and would be a good guy to pair with Westbrook in Philly...

Say it goes:

1) Raiders: Jamarcus Russell
2) Lions: Adrian Peterson
3) Browns: Brady Quinn

If Houston doesn't take Lynch at 8 (and their fans seem to want an OT), the next team to look at him should be Green Bay at 16... Personally, I figure he would go to GB but their fans seem to think CB or WR should be their pick... if Green Bay doesn't take him he figures to drop all the way to the Jets/Philly area...

Would it be too much to ask to walk away with both Russll and Lynch?....

No fucking way he makes it past Houston, IMO.
Not unless they got a vet. The Portis idea is interesting since the 'Skins have been hoarding runningbacks this year and Betts looked like the real deal. That would leave them Duckett, Betts, and Sellers (that they frequently use as a halfback), plus with Washington in such disarray...

Hm. I wouldn't get my hopes up. Knock it off, HB.

That took me five minutes to type... the least you could have done was waited for one post of hope dammit...

It actually kind of makes some sense to me. How can Green Bay NOT draft a receiver?

There. There's your post of hope.

How big a Raider fan is he? Big enough to sabotage his 40 time?

If he was to run say a 4.70 at the combine that would surely hurt his stock enough for him to slide down to our 2nd round pick. Come on Lynch...take one for the home team.

Remember P-buc. There was some team he didn't want to play for. What did he do. He shows up at a private workout for that team wearing a jersey of a division rival.

Somebody is going to wind up trading for Michael Turner so some team is getting crossed off the list for Lynch.

I was posting out of sheer emotion, HB. In truth, the fact is that when Marshawn Lynch steps out of the dandelion fields and on to the candycane track of the combine, clicks his ruby red slippers together, and races a unicorn, anything can happen.

Oh, and drugs are bad for you.

I agree that no good RB slips past Houston unless Carr gets the boot. I dont want to let the lions get AP. Though I know if they dont and we do, they will look at lynch. Unless they get a true vet, the lions are drafting a RB IMO. They got Kitna and Josh McCown on payroll and just got a 98 catch season out of a former safety in Martz offense. RB or DT for the lions IMO.

Cleveland is a lock to get Brady Quinn if we pass on him also. Though that doesnt bother me much. Especially after he semi-luke warmed on the Raiders helmet(You love the silver and black or die a horrible death). Damnit drafting Russell is tempting like Val Kimer to TG Laying up in her house house wearing nothing but Speedos, spurs, and his doc holiday Mustasche. But I still say Adrian Peterson. Lynch and Jordan Combo isnt a bad Idea though. Especially if we get Trestmen and the Zone blocking scheme going. Of course its the zone stretch that Peterson typically takes for his biggest runs. 2007 is the year of choices it seems.
