Mark Davis — just leave!

“Mark has now fixed it”

As we pick first overall in two weeks with our 4th new coach in four years.

Let’s pump the breaks a bit.
Not too sure what more Marc can do at this point:
  1. Built the best HQ/training facilities
  2. Built a new, quality stadium
  3. Sold ownership and a succession plan to accomplished business men, who hitched their wagon to Brady.
  4. Brady got his GM.
  5. Brady/SpyGuy parlayed Mendoza to get their 1st choice HC.
  6. Mark is still paying for 3 other GM, 3 other HC, and 3 other staffs.
Marc literally is just a fan now. Other owners likely hit pause, live with their mistakes, and stop trying until they’ve recouped the money lost from prior mistakes. If his efforts remain for naught, that’s on the new ownership group.

I dunno who Marc is, but he sounds great. Mark should sell the team to him.

Stop overseeing the rubble of what literally used to be the best franchise in sports.

If Mark is really a guy that knows jack shit about football and, as a result, is completely hands off (as former staffers claim) wouldn’t that make him… competent?

Hiring incompetent people and either not realizing they're incompetent or not caring that they are isn't the feather in the cap you're proclaiming it to be. All that stay out of the way shit sounds good to fans, but in a billion dollar industry, that's the most asinine thing I ever hear that fans parrot as a virtue for owners. Everyone parodies the Jerry Jones of the world, but most of the good teams, the owners are involved. The Rams are probably the only ones who don't have ownership involved too much in football matters, and before they hired McVay, we know how that was going not well. Even now, the hope is that Brady is that guy who can do it. Even Jody Allen, who was barely visible since she inherited the team from her brother, stepped in, surmised the game had passed Pete by, fired him, and got a Super Bowl win out of it two years later.

I’m really not sure that I proclaimed it a feather in anyone’s cap. I mostly wanted to just talk shit to a friend.

That said, tell me that we don’t go from a fully hands on owner to a fully off hands owner.

Which do you prefer? Me? I absolutely would take Al. 100% of the time.

Mark did what you all wanted....he fucked off.

This is Brady and Spytek's team now.

Am I wrong?

As long as we're back on track to 17-0, we'l all be happy.

Hmm, one does wonder if the next phase of the NFL will be just getting QBs on rookie contracts since you have to play them anyway, use smoke and mirrors to scheme them to work and then let them go. Build everything else and just shuffle the QBs every few years based around a system.

In a way, everything old would be new again.
I wish this happened

Sell off every share and walk into the desert.

Jerry takes a lot of deserved gruff, but while his Cowboys are thrown off in the playoffs, they consistently make them and recently had a run of 12-5 seasons.

Mark has two winning seasons in his 14+ years.
But the Aces are good..........
So is the local rec league team. Any league that has Mark dominating isn't a serious endeavor.
