Some of these seem low to me but we shouldn't get any respect since we Blew GOAT last year!!!

There was no Donavan or Daunte on our Roster but their teams that they were on are not posted yet.

Im dissapointed with Cris Carr as a 58 and Thomas Howard as an 82.

Curry should be an 85 too.

I know some of you geeks went out and bought it yesterday....What you think?

:o I got mine at lunch at Circuit City
I only got to get one game in last night,
Here are my thoughts,

As for the rest of you, let us know if you are on line and what platform you use and also your handle is so maybe we can get a game together....

I loved the way it looks, the tunnel entrances rule!

Game feels ok I guess, I need to get used to some of the button set ups a little more.

Kicking was strange but I guess better then it use to be.

I got sacked right off the snap a few times, don't understand that?

The animations are awesome when you get tackled or tackle someone.....I loved the low tackles and tripping up guys.

Running seems harder then last years which I guess is good.....Don't like that the speed burst is a trigger on 360 and also the LT is a pitch with your RB, that screws me up.....I fumbled twice in that 1st game.

thought that the line played better, now I did switch Gallery to LG and move Henderson to RT.

Didn't like I can't switch current players positions like Darius to SS from FS.

just some of my tid bits that I found so far.

I need a good 4 hours or more to get it going on this Friday night once the wife and kid goes to sleep.

FYI I had a 73 yard TD from JR to JP......it was sweet Porter jumped over Palomalo and then shed his tackle before running the last 10 yard for a TD....

Online : I will be but not until Friday

Not out here until 24th and I am still waiting for my 360 to come back from being fixed again.

Can you do proper player editing this year?

11.6 million defective 360 systems. I can't get myself to drop money on a defective system. I'll stick with my PS2. Got it yesterday. Its ok, but I feel like 07 was better so far. Also they removed the 2005 madden layout option, which has really made me frustrated in using their annoying new control scheme. .

that depends on what you mean by proper? you can edit players in the roster managment section.....

Edit their ratings, position, player No, equipment?

Everything I think except the Position? I signed Darius and couldn't move from FS to SS. but I only tried once.

Just be insistent about your request and the software will soon bend to your will.

:lowblow:Well smart ass, on my 07 xbox version you had to have more then one or two players at a position before it would let you change their position from the starting system position! :spank:

I'm right with you there. It took me two day to figure out how to tuck the ball and run with the QB. Another thing that pissed me off is that we have the exact same playbook. In fact... other than a couple of techo nerd features and the messed up control layout, it's the exact same game as 07. I should have save the $50 and updated the roster myself. What a waste

Haven't had a chance to pick up my copy yet, since I'm finishing up with finals this week (getting to bed at 4-5AM, working, more school, and kids all tear into that precious playing time, not to mention sleep). Hopefully grab it up in a week or two.

It's no secret that some of the NFL's top players have lobbied EA Sports, both publicly and privately, to improve their ratings in the Madden video game. Devin Hester's perfect 100 speed rating, for instance, came in part as a result of his cooperation with EA Sports. But what about the players at the bottom of the league?

Buc 'Em notes that Tampa Bay wide receiver Mark Jones has a 55 Madden rating, and Rick Reilly reports in this week's Sports Illustrated that a 55 ties Jones with Raiders linebacker Isaiah Ekejiuba as the two worst players in the NFL. Jones had this to say:

"Well, I don't think that's really fair. Those people aren't here, seeing you in person, knowing what you can do. They're just going off their assumptions."

True, the EA Sports people aren't actually watching every single player in person, and if they were there, they would have seen Jones score a 53-yard touchdown in last night's preseason game. But even if Jones is the worst player in the NFL, there's no shame in that. Someone has to be last, and millions of people would kill to be the worst player in the NFL.
