i think we can beat a deflated pitt next week...

and ILL BE AT THE FRICKING SEATTLE GAME. so that better damn well be a win

if we can win those 2... i think weve got a damn good chance to keep that momentum going... however we need better play from our tackles... Boothe, Grove, and Sims have solidified a bit but we're having problem from the edge...

Other then that I like what i see from AWAL... hes a goodun. Fargas, Crockett and Lee looked good enough as our RB by committee... almost feels like gruden was back today.

Our D was lights out today... a couple big plays but we didnt let em sneak in and if they hadnt had good field position on a couple of those from the start we might have held em to near bugscat.

Makes me feel good to be a raider fan... oh and if it hasnt been mentioned our team is really young... This O could be together for another 3-4 years with the exception of sims... and the D has the look of a monster... add a Sapp replacement and all of a sudden we look damn good again...

Seems to me this defense is may be a lot better than we thought. They've played well against good teams and bad teams. That's no longer an accident or an aberration. Sure we might be better with some better DT play but yesterday as an example the DL brought it hard against Leinart. How much of that was "Arizona" it's hard to say. Next week will be a better indicator.

Fargas? This guy is running with a purpose. It's astonishing how fast he hits the hole. He looks like he's been shot out of a cannon. No dancing, no jitter-bugging...just North/.South running when it's necessary and he runs hard. Compare that to how Jordan struggles with his first step or two and it's night and day. I mentioned earlier that it might be a good idea for LaMont to let the back heal up completely, -- like for the next 2-3 games while Fargas, Lee and Crocket work the running back by committee thing.

I like AW. I hope this hammy thing doesn't leave a crack in the door for Giggles the Clown to slither through. That would be a damn shame. The kid is learning and growing and we can see it's getting better. He'd surely have thrown for over 300 yards yesterday had the WR's been able to catch the ball -- hell their only job and they dropped what? Five passes? six? Yikes.

I feel a lot better this morning about the team in general. Granted it was Arizona who is a bad football team but still the defense didn't give up a touchdown and they were flying all over the field. Pittsburgh and Settle are the next two and we'll see if the improvement was real or if it's Memorex.

EDIT: Forgot to mention. Five (5) turnovers yesterday. That's not going to cut it. Have to tighten that up. How often do you win a game turning the ball over five times? (It was Arizona -- who now has the leasd in the "worst team in the NFL" sweepstakes)

I like our chances if Ben and Porter don't play for them. I really won't feel really good about our chances unless those two are on the sideline.
...
The Steelers are better then their Record and should have Beat ATL if they would have turned the ball over as many times as they did. ATL didn't do much on offense even with all those TD's Vick Threw.
Until we can play more consistant on Offense we won't have a chance. They can put up some points up.....I will say we should be able to stop their running game... I think their passing game with Ben in there is awesome, the last two games he looked good (until ATL knocked him out).

We need a healthy Jordon as well.
As much as we all like Crockett and Fargas neither is a starter.
Gallery better shape up or we will be dumping his big dumb ass.
See my new Thread for my KEY TO THE GAME.
