That man's gotta be on his third cadaver by now. Not a factory original ligament on him anywhere.
 
What SpyGuy got right in the draft:
  1. QB 1.1 (Mendoza)
  2. Traded up/down the board & got value
  3. Hit on my ‘lil Al coverage safety in the 2nd (Stukes)
  4. Played the board well to land the last noted pass rusher (Crawford) and athletic IOL (Zuhn) in the 3rd
  5. Got huge value with risk in the 4th (McCoy, Washington)
  6. Traded Wilson and added needed depth in the secondary in the 5th (D. Johnson, Masses)
  7. Saw that the depth at WR and NT outpaced demand—landing him 5th round prospects (Benson, Cleveland) per Zierlein in the 6th & 7th
It’s been 12 years to feel this good about a draft.
Playoffs by ‘28, book it. :beerbang:

I haven’t had much to bitch about this off-season and the positivity is fucking weird. Might have to start making destructive life decisions to counter it.

So, what did SpyGuy do with the $15.7M in cap space (net value of Meyers’ Y3 deal less dead cap) and 4th round and 6th round picks for Meyers?
  • Saved cap: Nailer ($15M)
  • Traded the 6th to land CB. T. Johnson
  • Traded the 4th to net OG Zuhn
Oh, it also helped the tank to land Mendoza.

Not that it matters, a mock draft data base I looked at had most of his draft picks as reaches. Some were huge reaches.
He had two or three value picks.

Arif’s board did too. But boards don’t reflect runs and position depth. That said, McShay’s board mirrored SpyGuy’s draft, which is our most liked draft since ‘14.
