Let’s go Spytek

Stop using dumb people to validate what you think. Did he look like the 31st pass rusher last week when he was wrecking shit? I like how the defense is playing with this rag tag bunch. We get more players next year, and it'll get better. DT was expected to be a huge weakness, and they've played well. Corners were supposed to be the worst in the league, and they've been above average. Chinn has been good and doing much better than Moehrig is faring in Carolina. We've had garbage LBs around here for 20 years. At least Adams is playing well in his spot appearances at LB.

That might have been Maxx's best game as a pro last week. Aside from the int, he batted down a couple balls, forced a fumble in the back field which I believe resulted in a sack and just was a menace all game long. On top of it, he is doubled on every play and held as much as anyone in the NFL. Seems like the only metric they judge DE's these days are on sacks. He's also a game wrecker in the running game, just a great overall DL.

He wrecks game plans all on his own, got to get some juice coming from the other edge and up the middle.

The way the NFL is going with the dink and dunk offenses and lack of talent at QB it's primed for a dominate defense to win it all.

Philly won't win another one with Hurts at QB if they outlaw the tush push which is likely to happen this coming off season.

Imagine Maxx on a contending team? I don't think the tush push should be outlawed but they need to do a better job of not letting the OL get a jump start on the defense.

Exactly. Old school owners like Al did used to balance making money versus what was best for the game. We're going to have Wednesday Night Football here soon. They can barely practice. They're cutting the preseason down to two games or eliminating it for more regular season games. All of these are things brought to you buy your short-sighted billionaires who put that piss poor product on the field, not the players. When it came to holding out when under contract, they made sure they can't do that anymore, so they could have prevented restrictions on practicing in pads and can reverse it in the next CBA if they wanted to but won't. Put the blame where it belongs.

Well, people keep watching in greater numbers including all the fans who complain about the supposedly piss pour product.

"TNF is awful!"

-says the 15 million fans who log into Amazon Prime.

Nobody ever prior to this season ever said any good about Diadildo. No one ever said don’t draft a LB because we have him. In fact most of us wanted a LB to replace him.

Exactly. As soon as they leave for greener pastures, it's we should have retained him. The life of a Raider fan.

That's what I'm saying. I doubt players raised their hand to do that. In fact, I remember a lot of complaints about it when they started it, but the owners were like we can sell this package for billions. Everything they've done is about money and not if the product is better, but we keep watching, actually people are watching more than ever, so they've been validated in their thinking.

Lmao can confirm. I was the only person here who said re-sign him early last year only because the backups were so fucking terrible. All I got was groans from the whole forum.

I don't really recall Diablo being healthy enough to be on the field for evaluation. Must have got a lot of snaps after I tuned out. Oh yeah, that was most of the season...

To be fair just about everyone has Amazon Prime at this point and what else are you gonna watch on a Thursday night?

It's that behavior for the JAGs and incessant praying on the downfall of the actual good players. Except for David. Everyone except the Carrsaders hate watched him and was wishing for his arm to fall off.

Yeah that one doesn't bother me as much. It's the one-off streamers and sometimes they do that with other games on at the same time so you have to switch between apps. That's fuckin bullshit.

He was banged up last year, and it was a glaring absence because the backups were horrendous. Like most of those dudes, his best stretch of play came at the end of 2023. I remember him winning a game with a pick or fumble recovery in that stretch.

He was worse than that other LB we had that everyone thought was “good” but I couldn’t stand him. Marrow or something…
