Broncos | Team could be interested in Jenkins

Mike Klis, of the Denver Post, reports the Denver Broncos will likely consider acquiring Carolina Panthers DT Kris Jenkins in a trade. Jenkins is reportedly being shopped by the team.

I'd be interested in trading for Jenkins even with his salary. Although he and Sapp would never co-exist on the same team.
 
The broncos will have him and our rivalry with them will jump up a notch in the shit talking department. He's the perfect replacement shit talking raider basher for Trevor Pryce's punkass. Lets just try to send him back to alcoholism.


on a side note i can't say i want him as a raider. any dude blames another player for his alcoholism is an idiot with no real heart. talent or not i'm straight on adding him to our team. I'd just as soon grab his boy buckner.

Exactly. Kris Jenkins is another guy who isnt hungry enough to be successful late in his career. If he can stay healthy and motivated and not drunk he might be worth a damn. i wouldnt want his cancerous as on my team.

I'd take him, if only to keep him out of Denver and so that he could ride the pine behind Warren Sapp. That'd go over well, right?

if he made the vets minimum yea. Honestly i'm not all that scared of him enough to be worried about the donkeys getting him. I'm also interested to see if they finally trade Al Wilson somehow to get jenkins. if so i think that leaves a hole in their MLB position. Its all about what the donks give up to get him imo. Hopefully carolina is greedy.
 
Ummm, nah.

My interest would be piqued if we signed him, because there is the chance, however slight, that he could overcome everything, and return to that dominating player he was a few years ago.

But I remember McGlockton and Russell, and I'm not entirely unhappy with our DT rotation now.

HAHA. If we were getting paid millions to do it, yes. But seriously sweetie do you have to drink that hard during every Raiders game, your just going to go over to the darkside late second half... :D
 
It's unfortunate that Jenkins and Sapp don't seem to get along, though for the life of me, outside of playing in the same division, I can't see where the animousity comes from... My guess would be from Pro Bowl practices... I used to go and watch and Sapp would just non-stop rag on everybody, much the way Charles Barkley does... It was funny as hell, but I could see where a young player might get a little ass hurt...


Too bad, a healthy and motivated Kris Jenkins playing in the 330-340 pound range is IMO, probably the elite combination of run stop/pass rush DT in the NFL... A Jenkins-Turd rotation would have really been something to look forward to, especially with the running games we face in the AFC West... Putting Jenkins in the hands of Keith Millard may have been the best thing that could happen to him... I don't know if burying the hatchett is out of the question, but I'd at least broach the subject with them if I were Al...
 
I'd take a flyer on Jenkins if the asking price is a 2nd day pick. This guy was probably a top 3 DT not too long ago.
