KC Wolf Inducted Into Mascot Hall of Fame

This Tuesday, August 15th the best known mascots in the country will gather in Philadelphia to celebrate the annual Mascot Hall of Fame’s induction ceremony.
Kansas City Chiefs’ mascot, KC Wolf, is a member of this year’s and is the first NFL mascot to be inducted into the Mascot Hall of Fame.
Since his arrival in Kansas City Chiefs in 1989, KC Wolf has been one of the most entertaining mascots in professional sports. Whether he’s dancing, imitating Elvis, or performing one of his hilarious routines, KC Wolf’s pleases audiences everywhere. Through the years, KC Wolf has entertained fans of all ages and made appearances all over the United States and around the world.
KC Wolf is portrayed by Dan Meers, who also is in high demand as a motivational speaker — averaging more than 150 speaking engagements each year, speaking at schools, churches, banquets.
The Mascot Hall of Fame was founded to promote the art and performance of the characters who entertain us at games and events. Other professional sports inductees this year include “Clutch”, from the Houston Rockets and “Jazz Bear”, from the Utah Jazz. Collegiate inductees include: Aubie, from Auburn University, Bucky, University of Wisonsin, and YoUDee, University of Deleware.
