Hard to game plan quick throws when NYJ have 8 in the box, the best pair of outside CB, rush only 4 and generate great pressure:

It’s not like the Jets need a break when it comes to their pass rush, no team in football generates pressure at a higher rate than New York. The Jets are the only team in football that generates pressure on more than 30% of QB dropbacks, which is incredible when you consider they blitz just 17.2% of the time, the second-lowest rate in football.

Even so, when you are likely to face off against an opponent missing their best offensive lineman, it’s an advantage. The first-round pick from 2018 doesn’t get the recognition he deserves on the national stage, but Miller has become one of the best left tackles in football. He’s also been one of the more consistent, only missing a couple of games in 5 and a half years in the league.

Torans crash was solo. He hit a curb and flipped into a tree. His death and Eric Turners cancer were two tragic setbacks to the franchise
 
What to expect from Bo and Aiden if things go well:
  • A lot of Jacobs
  • A lot of quick, safe, short passes
  • Play action shots to Adams & Tucker downfield
  • Don’t be afraid to kick or punt

Hopefully some designed roll outs to offset the pressure. Jets are going to be loading the box to stop JJ.

You are right. Thomas Howard was also killed in a car crash I believe. RIP all.

This is a loss tonight. I don’t see a win. Jets defense is much better than what Raiders faced last week.

Elemunor at LT? I have no confidence in him and will critical to give Aidan time - which he won’t get. This will create turnovers.

So we will be complaining by the end game about Aidan and wondering who will replace Pierce.

That’s what I’m feeling. Hope I’m wrong.

It’s also why it’s a big day for Pierce (O’Connell and Champ) to make Mark a believer.

And if Raiders lose, this makes Pierce's chances at becoming the full time coach significantly lower (due to upcoming games vs Chiefs and Dolphins, which are certainly losses).

Big game indeed.
