This is a good pickup for Denver. They now have a legitimate WR. Rod Smith was a little bit over the hill and Lelie didn't develop like they'd hoped. No-one else on the roster really showed much potential. This was a necessary acquisition.

I know everyone likes to worry about knee injuries. I think that's a moot point. If he got it operated on more than 6 months ago, he'll be ready to play. Period.

Yeah, but Edwards likes building from scratch. Get used to it. Even though they're brining in Law (so the rumor goes), it's only for a year or two while the kids take shape.
 
As long as the 'kids' take shape...I can live with that!! :)
 
Edwards is very good at shaping the kids. I think his problem is when they've become adults. They no longer like being treated like kids.

You just need to look at his tenure in New York. He knows how to crack the whip, but the following season tends to fade a bit. As his act gets older the fade gets bigger. Is it a trend? Can't be certain, but it looks that way.

He wanted out of New York about as much as they wanted to be rid of him. Not a good sign. But I think for about 5 season you'll be happy with him.
