Any fellow Bond fans here? The new flick looks pretty dope. I’m a Connery guy through and through, but Daniel Craig has done an amazing job as 007 and I’m looking forward to his last turn as Bond.

Same. Connery is classic Bond but I dig Craig's spin on it. I'm looking forward to this one... was kind of worried that they were going to PC the the character but from what I've seen it just looks like a good movie overall.

I figured that you’d be a fellow Bond guy. Are you talking PC as in 007 being a female?

Yeah, I think I was worried early on that they were replacing "Bond" with a female which I couldn't see playing. I mean, I've got nothing against a female super spy movie but it probably kills what makes Bond cool as a character. Sounds like she is just another agent though. At any rate, I'm looking forward to it.

It sounds like Bond retired from active duty and they assigned his number to another agent. He probably bangs her and she just willingly gives him number back, seeing as he has a magic penis and all.

Me too. I’m glad that they brought Christoph Waltz back, even if it’s in a small capacity. I didn’t like how they made Bond his adopted brother though. I liked his original backstory a lot better.

Waltz is awesome and yeah redoing the backstory like that is weird. There's some speculation regarding Malek's character's real identity too.

Motherfucker! I’m going to be pissed if he is. I don’t like the idea of rebooting the movies. I didn’t mind the Casino Royale reboot because it was never a proper Bond movie, but if this is the path they’re going down....

It's just super speculation by some reddit guys but those fuckers figure out everything.

"No" Time to Die and some of the shots in the trailer leading to it.

My bad... shouldn't have put it out there like that though.

No worries. I figured it was a matter of time before they started rebooting.
 
Craig is a dull Bond. I will be glad when he retires.

What happened to the escapism of the franchise? Now it is just Bourne 2.0.
 
Craig’s fantastic. Probably the closest depiction of the Bond from Ian Fleming’s books. I’m a Connery guy all the way. I won’t even watch the Brosnon movies.

I liked Daniel Craig's Bond a lot. But I do think his movies are overrated.

I didnt enjoy Casino Royale (No action movie needs an hour long poker scene) I thought Spectre was atrocious with the whole brother angle. I can't even remember a thing about Quantum of Solace. Thats how much that movie sucked.

The brother thing infuriated me. I thought Casino Royals was fantastic from beginning to end. The poker scene showed Bond’s youthful arrogance and helped demonstrate his character development in an important way. QOS was kind of a bridge movie that was probably meant to set up something, but they dropped it an incorporated it into SPECTRE once EON regained the rights to the name and character of Blofeld.
 
I remember hearing whispers many years ago before Spectre that they wanted to make Mr Hinx (Bautista's character) the true mastermind behind SPECTRE. The actor was apparently not quite ready for the big time meatier role.

A guy who was bigger, smarter, faster, tougher than 007. I would have liked that movie with just a relentless badass bad guy that is better than James at everything. Have Waltz as the fake puppet leader.

I think they dropped the ball.

As far as the other ones meh. I liked Skyfall. Hopefully this new one is good. I hear they are going with a black chick for Bond now?
