I'm bored. (Dad jokes)

So the kid that committed the foul leading to the penalty kick that gave Canada the win over the U.S. women’s soccer team was my daughter’s former club teammate. Sucks it came down to that.

Your daughter should punch her in her fucking face when she sees her again

I'm sure you'll be fine.
That’s what you think. Do you know how hard it is not to dry heave when kindergartners have been sucking on their masks all day? It’s fucking next level gross.

Sorry, not sorry @Sleet

One morning a blind bunny was hopping down the bunny trail, and he tripped over a large snake and fell, kerplop! Right on his twitchy little nose.

"Oh, please excuse me!" said the bunny. "I didn't mean to trip over you, but I'm blind and couldn't see."

"That's perfectly all right," replied the snake. "To be sure, it was my fault. I didn't mean to trip you, but I'm blind too, and I didn't see you coming. By the way, what kind of animal are you?"

"Well, I really don't know," said the bunny. "I'm blind, and I've never seen myself.

Maybe you could examine me and find out."

So the snake felt the bunny all over, and he said, "well, you're soft, and cuddly, and you have long silky ears, and a little fluffy tail, and a dear twitchy little nose; you must be a bunny rabbit!" (The little blind bunny was so pleased he danced with joy.)

Then he said, "I can't thank you enough, but by the way, what kind of animal are you?

And the snake replied that he didn't know, and the bunny agreed to examine him, and when he was finished, the snake said, "well, what kind of an animal am I?"

So the bunny felt the snake all over, and he replied, "you're hard, you're cold, you're slimy, and you haven't got any balls. You must be a lawyer!"

Ideally, yes... although it's a fine line between that and helicopter parents. Practically speaking it's not always feasible logistically with working parents and such. 99.9 percent of coaches are great people. Like 99.9 percent of teachers, 68.354 percent of priests, etc. You can take reasonable precautions but a parent cannot reasonably protect their child from every potential opportunity for something bad to happen. Honestly I'd be more worried as a coach in that situation than I would be as a parent. I don't even meet with female employees at work 1v1.

The teacher number should be lower than the priest number.

Because people in politics, whether that is politicians or political commentators, want to tell other people how and what to think. It is what they do. People who listen to these idiots want to be told what to think or want their thoughts validated. When I hear a story, I do not need to refer to a moron like Tucker Carlson or Steven Colbert to know what to think about it.

Colbert, yes.

But Carlson is far from a moron.

Well, why lead the crappy life training then ?

What the fuck was she training for ?

To quit ?

Be like the Raiders making it to the Superbowl and saying 'We're not playing, we're just not mentally ready'.

HOORAY FOR HER BRAVERY FOR QUITTING.

Fuck, we are doomed.

It is disgusting to see and I am telling you her quitting will make it acceptable for other athletes to quit now or God forbid allow them to ban criticism by saying it hurts their feelings.
